Watching Biden makes me want to barf
Shoots100 replied to luberhill's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
How did I know you were a fan of Bernie's ? He stood by his failing principles and lost every time. In the end, his lust for power made him sell his soul to the Clintons and look where it got him. I give him an A for effort. -

Whether Trump or Any President , their Job is to make policies that benefit America, not the country that their dealing with. Other countries were laughing, as they thought Trump was going to be a push over like his predecessors. After his speech at the UN, They weren't laughing, as they saw their golden goose walking away. They went from laughing to disbelief pretty quickly. The US was getting screwed royally. Trump showed the world that those days were over and unfortunately sealed his fate, as that was also the cash cow for the Democrats too and they couldn't let their cash cow dry up. If you call Giving billions of dollars to terrorists a great foreign policy, Obama was very successful indeed. That money fueled the wars going on for more years, killing American soldiers and civilians. Not a very smart move for Barry, but he went to Harvard, so he knows better. -

I don't think you could lower your moral standards to understand a socialists reasoning for anything they do. I'll sum it up for you, They know Hate, Disdain and Misery. Right now, Argentina is going through the middle stages of progressive socialism, which is what it will look like in America, if we let it happen. Sadly, the ship is heading in that direction. Socialism and it's variants have killed a lot, mostly it's own serfs, but it was to late for them to do anything about it, when their to weak to fight and have no weapons to fight with anyway. In 2017, Professor Stephen Kotkin wrote in The Wall Street Journal that communism killed at least 65 million people between 1917 and 2017: "Though communism has killed huge numbers of people intentionally, even more of its victims have died from starvation as a result of its cruel projects of social engineering." Enjoy your Freedom while it lasts. -

King Cuomo being investigated
Shoots100 replied to rob-c's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
The plot thickens. "If the Department of Justice investigates the Cuomo Administration’s refusal to turn over data on nursing home deaths, a huge conflict would arise if the case were handed to the Manhattan federal prosecutor. That’s because Audrey Strauss, the US Attorney for the Southern District, is the mother-in-law of top Cuomo aide Melissa DeRosa, the figure at the center of the emerging scandal." -
Gender questions...
Shoots100 replied to Zag's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
My question is that if a male criminal is sentenced to prison and then decides that he's a female, is the he/she going to be sent to a female correctional facility ? You know the answer would be a succinct NO, for a myriad of reason and that's why this is all Bullshit. If your born a male with genitals, you get them cut off and then you can claim your a female and vice versa. -

Ol' Joe couldn't even answer the softball question's he was being asked coherently at the town hall meeting and we're supposed to believe he wrote a statement that has more than four sentences in it ? -

I'm trying to believe that your just being an antagonist with your post's, because no one could be that stupid and ignorant to write what you wrote and believe it. As a small business owner for the last 20+ years with 8 employees, I actually watch the numbers like a hawk and I can tell you that in the last 4 years, I was able to hire two full time workers, buy equipment to make my business grow and move into a bigger shop, in spite of the ACA and environmental BS tax's added from the Obama years. Not to mention my employees and my retirement accounts doubled. I'm far from rich and I worked my ass off to get where l am and I can tell you your post is total bullshit. I guess it was just a coincidence that it all started after Feb 2016 ? You know Cuomo's way to balance the budget, run the debt up to $68 billion, shut down the states economy and borrow $50 billion from the hard working American tax payers, from states that actually balance their budgets. Your talking about that type of budget balancing ? -

Another example of the tolerant socialist left. Don't mix Grouse with the tactics of your fellow comrade's BMM, this is still America, where we still have a rule of Law. I know your just following orders from Biden, Harris, Pelosi and Schumer and I would say that your actions are the result of their constant acidic and inciting hate rhetoric that they've been spewing over the last year. According to your Masters, that would be an impeachable offense, Right ? Now I know where they got the Borg story line on Star Trek, they just followed the rules of the progressive socialist handbook. Assimilate or die. -

Another TM15 video. At base mag, it has a wide FOV, that's perfect for spotting critters in close quarters and wooded terrain. -

Here's another doe at 25 yards. I didn't see the other doe's head to the left in the first couple of seconds till I reviewed the footage. This is an awesome monocular and beat NV or any light that's out there. -

Here's a short video of a doe at 50 yards. Clarity looking through it is way better than the video. -
The other dimwitted blue state Gov's did it because Cuomo was considered the leading expert on dealing with Covid at the time, even though NY state had more deaths than any other state and was on a total lock down. If your a Democrat, it makes total sense, if your a sane person, you'd say otherwise. Gov Desantis of Fla was saying otherwise and put the nursing homes and elder care facilities on lockdown, not the state and they chastised him for months. He has a state full of the most vulnerable and the numbers are half of NY state. The numbers don't lie, unless you hide those numbers. Desantis has a backbone and proved that what Cuomo and the other idiots did was murder.

The worst part of this BS, is that Governors from other states followed the King's edict and killed thousands of seniors in their states too, only adding to the Kings death toll. Well, what do you think the king was going to do to all of the seniors that were part of the "Not So great" generation ? Ted Bundy had better morals than the King.

The problem with legalization, is that the addicts aren't working a job to get their fix, their stealing, robbing, mugging and sometimes killing others to get the money to get their fix and then they blame the drugs in the end anyway. How is the war on drugs going to work, if they don't penalize the offenders ? No bail seems to be working great for the criminals, not so great for their victims. Maybe if we just supplied the addicts with drugs, then they wouldn't have to commit crimes to get it and we could all dance in a circle singing kum bah yah all day ? -
Night Vision or Thermal for predator hunting in NY?
Shoots100 replied to Big Cat!'s topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
You cannot compare a red light or even night vision to a thermals capabilities. Thermal has it's limitations, as it cannot see through brush, glass, or walls. Most midrange thermals can detect out to and past 1,000 yards. What the blob is at 1,000 yards is the question, but you know there's something alive there. The more you spend, the better the resolution and that will enable you to take longer shot's. I'm going to be receiving an AGM Taipan TM15 monocular this Tuesday. After testing and evaluating their 160 and 384 unit's, I bought a TM15 for my own personnel use. I've recommended the AGM ASP Micro TM384 monocular to many and all that have purchased one have been more than happy with those units. For now, you can get a thermal monocular for spotting and use the red light for engaging targets. I would then save up for a Bering optics Super hogster, or the R35 hogster, if you don't want to record your hunt's. As of now, those two scopes offer the best bang for your buck and have been field proven. Though it can be done, You don't want to be using your rifle scope for double duty as a scope and spotter. It's not safe, especially if it's mounted on the rifle and your pointing at objects you don't ever want to point a loaded rifle at. Check out those and other unit's in your price range before making a decision. -
Set up tonight over fresh bait or wait a day?

I figured there might be some activity before yesterdays crappy weather was supposed to roll in, so I also did some snow shoe recon. There was no coyote activity at all here too. Some old deer sign and only saw red squirrels moving in the pines. The snow wasn't that friendly, as it melted and then froze, so there's a thin crust of ice on top, not like the snow upstate. I think the yotes have found more friendly areas to hole up in and won't be out until they get real hungry. It's going to be mayhem when/if this weather breaks. -
I've been shooting/hunting with 28ga shotguns for a long time, though never for turkey. While I haven't shot an ATI O/U, I've shot many Turkish made O/U's and have been using a Turkish made Mossberg silver reserve 28ga as a clays trainer for years now. The ATI has very positive reviews on all of the site's I've checked, so have fun with it and hopefully we'll see some pics of it with a dead turkey this spring.

Part sarcasm and part scenario, as in, the NY state Dems would legalize marijuana to get the revenue from the sales and also keep their serf's stoned, so they can stay in power. I have nothing against Marijuana, if used responsibly. My wife took edibles to help her deal with her cancer treatments and we had to go through hoops to get it. If it was legal, she would've been able to get it quicker and suffered less. The avalanche was an analogy. Once the censorship snowball starts gaining momentum , it wipes out everything in it's path, friend and foe alike. It's best not to go down that route, as it always ends badly for everyone.
