Got the 10th of the season last night. Nice female. I got tired of dealing with the weight and length of the 26" stainless varmint contour barrel on the 20 practical, so I chopped it down to 18"s, crowned and bead blasted it matte. I bought some 40 grn Vmax to try out, so I loaded up some rounds yesterday morning and got it sighted in just before dark. I traveled over to the other side of the range property on the tactical scooter and set up. Since most small game seasons start the same day Deer bow season starts(Oct 1st), your not going to be able to use the land from then, until the end of December, after deer muzzleloader season ends. Unless your hunting squirrel in Sept, your only getting a little over two months of small game hunting on the lease, if your not allowed to hunt it during deer season.

Hey All, I've been using the Rocky Lynx boots for awhile and while they are easier to remove than the lacrosse knee high rubber boots, they still didn't come off as easily as I wanted. So after doing more research, I bought a pair of the WORN 1.5mm frictionless neoprene wet suit boot socks to try out. I got the XL size and put them on over a thin pair of socks to avoid sweating, as was recommended by other's who were using them in hunting boots, not wet suits. These things work and work well. I hear you, but you don't have to do that with a trigger stick, as it retracts and extends with the pull of the trigger. I can't drive around and travel to my stands with a fully extended tripod, especially in the dark. Watch this video from the 1:35 second mark.
