  1. Anyone try the Truglo fiber optic sights ? Im still up in the air about adding a scope . Kinda takes something away from the style of gun .. And truth is I probably won’t use it much for hunting , My go to is my scoped .243 . scoped muzzleloader and scoped 1100 LT20 So the 94 will just be used on occasion
  2. I bought this AE about 10 yrs ago , haven’t shot it much but thought I’d like to hunt with it for fun firm time to time . the sights are hard to see with my 64 yr old eyes that’s why I was thinking a scope I have a Leupold on my 1100 20 gage.. I like it ok but don’t really see its much better than my Vortex But I’m a rookie Im sure rings and mounts will be another 100.00 i will probably just buy the bullet Buy once , cry once
  3. Would this be a decent one ? Seems like a cheap price and it looks kinda short like a long eye relief ??
  4. What about a good Vortex scope ? I have one on my crossbow that I like im just not sure of which one to use on this rifle
  5. Ouch 300.00 more than I paid for the rifle what about mounts ?
  6. It is drilled and tapped already Any idea a good Leupold scope and mounts for this ? Assume it’s a long eye relief
  7. Just look at the major companies that are gone. at one time these were all customers of mine . Carrier , New Process Gear , Miller Brewery , Nestles , Pass and Seymour , GM , Emerson Power , Cooper Tools ,Rollway Bearing , Oberdorfer ,
  8. Can fit a recoil pad ? Or between Seneca Falls and Rochester area ?
  9. I think I do but to be honest , I maybe was on the “ other” site like once but never since in over a year I believe
  10. I have the above and my aging eyes like a scope thoughts of adding a scope I believe the receiver is already drilled
  11. So do u hunt the woods when the corn is not cut ?
  12. So the 60 I hunt has about 30 in golden rod , rest woods and scrub brush He is going to lease the 30 to plant corn .. I’m thinking this may help me as long as they cut it or some of it before season ??
  13. Perfect BPS had the 54” for 59.99 but they matched Runnings 39.99 sale price and gave me 20.00 more off for signing up for a CC I’ll never use So I got it for 20.00 and change
  14. Agree , I took my first one in during bow and they had 31 that day alone went back last Wednesday with another and they were loaded
  15. Got a decent 7 with the crossbow and a decent six with the rifle let several small bucks walk and several small does the one big doe had her fawn and I let her walk i have 4 doe tags but I really don’t need any more meat so I may lay low
  16. So… is the 43” one large enough ? I think there is only one property I would ever use it on that I hunt the others I can use my wheeler
  17. We’ll time to admit dragging deer at 64 yrs old isn’t fun anymore . most of my spots I can get to with my 4 wheeler but one spot I can’t so it’s a sled or cart i know the cart is cheaper but which is best ? have you guys tried that hawk hauler cart ?
  18. Couple comments on FB Wayne Cty page said “ make sure you get along with the people you hunt with “ Not sure how to take that
  19. Yea seems to be kinda hushed . There were several different versions online but most removed .
  20. I just heard about this but there doesn’t seem to be any details , other than FaceBook ,which have a few different versions . Did they ever finish the investigation ?
  21. I shot a 6 and a 7 this year , I made a deal with myself .. prefer a big doe but at least a 6 if it’s a buck, 4 doe tags and not a one I saw big enough It’s hard where I hunt because the neighbors take everything , spikes included . I let several spikes and 4s walk and lots of small does and one big doe but she had a fawn with her and I’m getting soft oh well it’s their tag I guess nice buck
  22. Mowing about 30 ft onto. I really don’t care but my question is can he claim ownership in NY ? Hes been doing it about 15 yrs and the land had changed hands a few times . Its about 30ft x 100 ft
