We do big bow only drives on some 3S land each year. Its a big chuck of private land that only 2 guys hunt all year. Last 2 weekends of the year we push it pretty hard and manage a few deer in the group. When done correctly they are pretty safe and they are what i look forward to all year.

We have a ranger 570 and a ranger HD. I will tell you that 90% of the time, i grab the 570. the 570 has never let me down, and is used at least twice a month. pulls logs and sprays and seeds all our plots. is also used for frequent 20 mile plus trail ride days. Yes, it can have some wear and tear problems, but every year we drop it off at the local dealer and have them give it a once over. after 6 years of ownership we are now looking for a crew 570. My uncle has a can am commander and it seems pretty well built. although it is a different machine than the defender, its still similar. go with whatever local dealer has the best support, at the end of the day thats a big factor.

Up in 3s. Most action I’ve seen all year. 2 8 pointers running does all over the field across the road. Problem is there’s a group of coyotes over there moving around 2. Hopefully something crosses to my side

Every pair of hunting boot ive ever owned has been sized up. Gives me an option to double sock or fit a toe warmer in with comfort. I can say they fit perfect with a singe sock but still comfortable if i double up.

My dad got these for me for Christmas last year. I wear them with regular socks and they get the job done very well. For someone who’s feet are always cold they keep me warm

Slowest opening weekend in my history of hunting. New to us property, we had 3 guys spread out around our 42 acres. In 16hours on stand we seen a total of 5 deer. My uncle next door had 12 hunters on 140 acrs and managed a small 6 point and a decent 9. Last 5 mins of light Saturday evening.

Just hear that 287 will be undergoing construction tomorrow between Palisades and 87 and could be down to 1 lane of cars? Anyone can confirm this? If thats the case, all us down state floks may have a long ride tomorrow evening.

The problem with atv in a food plot/farming situation isnt power. It comes down to weight and traction. What about maybe a utv? Would put better power to the ground, slightly more comfortable, and a working bed.
