phantom replied to Farflung's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I have been listening to rush on and off since the 90s maybe 80s as long as I can remember. had not listen to him for a awhile lately and just happen to put him on today and to my shock I hear he is gone I couldn't believe it . RIP Rush -
Interesting and surprising you would think a democratic state like NY would would provide public accesses easements to all there state land even if its land locked , or something for people to get to it issue special permit or what ever for access .

a little off topic but what about land locked land state land ? is there always a way to get to it even if its not advertised easement to the public

The Surge in Gun and Ammo Sales Has Created a Boom in Wildlife Conservation Funding New gun owners and ammunition panic-buyers have turbo-charged the firearms industry. They’re also helping generate extra money for wildlife habitat, hunter recruitment, and much more By Alex Robinson Updated: February 15, 2021 A look at the spike in Pittman-Robertson funding since it's inception. Data source: USFWS.Russ Smith We’re more than 10 months into the largest civilian firearms and ammunition buying surge in American history. More than 8 million people bought a firearm for the first time last year and ammunition from .22LR to .300 Win. Mag. is sold out at stores across the country and backordered for months. When the surge will end is uncertain, but here’s one thing that’s absolute: This will all lead to a boom in conservation and wildlife funding in 2021, and beyond. And this is probably the greatest untold story of the great gun-buying year of 2020. For every sporting arm and box of ammunition sold, there’s an 11 percent excise tax applied that funds wildlife and habitat conservation initiatives (the tax is also applied to archery equipment). There’s a similar 10 percent excise tax on all handgun sales. Those excise tax dollars are distributed to states specifically for conservation work, hunter education and recruitment, shooting ranges, and wildlife research. In short, the more guns and ammo that get sold, the more available money there will be for conservation work.

Why since they don't want kids going to school or work anymore so seems like its not going to be a problem anymore anyway . -
yea he would, even if his bs makes know sense , right whos is going to infect you first and more someone you put in a bed next to you in a nursing home that you know has covid19 or the staff that is not even in the room all the time and may or may not have covid19 obviously its the already infected person that's living in there that's going to spread it first and more . I mean if Cuomo is that stupid not to figure that out he should not be making those decisions in the first place shouldn't have that job then . but then again this is the guy who said the china virus got here from Europe not from china . either way he should not be in charge . my bet is they promote him to VP or president once biden drops dead in a few years , watch. he is not going away just like fredo his brother on CNN they are deep deep state .
-
We know trump is not god either but , Here let me inform you because obviously you are not paying attention . Cuomo put covid19 in nursing homes when he could have put them in the trump medical ship he sent or the national guard portable hospital they made at the javicks convention center . But he decided politics was more important then protecting old people in nursing homes mean while he isolated his own 80 year old mother so she wouldn't get it but it was ok to risk someone else's mother or grandmother . And then this guy has the balls to right a book about how great he handled covid19 make millions off it and didn't donate a dime to the family's of the people he killed with that mess up . Real class act he is . And media praises him for it , And still does . Work with me here 1984 . 2+2 does not = 5 . Dont know what I'm referring to look it up .

just wow !!! looks almost like that deer has moose DNA in it awesome
-
Any time I see stuff like this and know what I see on peoples trail cams I think it came off a deer farm someplace probably , but who knows . congrats all the same .
-
I was just thinking about that show the other day but couldn't remember the name of it thanks
-
yep that is why trump was so effective and they hate him for it he is the only one that throw it back in there faces call trump a name make up shit about him he returns the favor 2 times as bad . Dems not use to there own tactics used against them the others just smile and ignore the insults like bushy did for years they basically said the same things about him and any republican as they are with trump its the same play book used over and over again if mitt Romney was president they would do the same wouldn't matter .

to make it fair has to be land none of the participants own don't think anyone is going to be able to have enough private land for other folks to hunt on at same time for a group competition like that unless they know bill gates .
-
If it means that much to you have a meet up at some big ass state land some place like Adirondacks or Catskills with the others one weekend next year and see who gets a deer or bear .
-
just walk over to that spot and check for coyote tracks first glance looks like yote then looking again looks like a deer not sure

not saying if the vaccine is good or bad but if you consider all the other bad shit people are exposed to like smoking drinking recreationally drugs bad food extra and obesity. Unless you are a health nut what ever is in that shot is not going to kill you any faster then all that other stuff will and definitely could save your life or someone you know from getting covid19 so its the lessor of 2 evils really even aspirin can hurt you if you take to much but people take it anyway when they are sick right . Anyway there is not enough of it to go around right now to even worry about if some one should or shouldn't take it right now and even if we did nothing the virus will burn its self out anyway over time becoming like the common cold .
