  1. For someone who believes so strongly in this product, you make it really hard to take any of your advice.
  2. +1! Well said. This mentality seems to be harder to find.
  3. Just out of curiosity... Is the black squirrel a different species than the grey or more of a subspecies? Like different color labs
  4. I'm working on my second pup right now and they're the best hunting buddies you'll ever have without a doubt. I can't tell you how many times I've taken a simple walk with my shotgun and my retriver and had a blast just strooling through the woods. And the best part is, it gets even better when they start learning whats really going on and the excitement in their eyes when they see you in camo!
  5. Wait them out, within reason. Especially if its a spot you plan to hunt again in the near future.
  6. Damn he is a slob!! I like how you couldn't even wait to clean your hands before you took a few pics lol Congrats!!
  7. Hard to say how he's making out without knowing more about the transaction but what I will tell you is the 7600 if a great gun... for the right hunter. I used one for many years as a walking/driving gun. Mine is very accurate for the hunting that I did with it. Quick to the shoulder and quick to cycle. With that being said I wouldn't use it as a stand gun to watch over a giant gully and make a 300 yard shot with. All in all mine was rugged and dependable and thats what I needed. Read some reviews online and I'm sure you'll get alot more info from that.
  8. Yeehaa Don! It begins again!! Unfortunetly I have other plans Saturday but we'll have 6 guns in the field on Sunday. The number of birds around right now is awesome. I've seen a few snows around also, so it would be great to have a few of them on the ground. Good luck and I look forward to the videos.
  9. Congrats Don! I haven't seen a single teal all year. Nice mixed bag you have there.
  10. Just got the report.. It was banded in Montezuma NY. Banded this year and was hatched 2013 or earlier.
  11. I had no idea they banded ringnecks too. Well that's officially on the bucket list!
  12. I shot a goose band late September this year and the guy was able to give me the info over the phone. She was banded in 2012 in New Jersey and shot in Saratoga. Any idea if the banders submit the info soon after the bird is banded?
  13. Just pulled it up and apparently the info hasn't been submitted by the banded yet. It says it could take a few months, so unfortunately I'll have to wait.
  14. Huh that's great, thanks guys!
  15. Do you get the information immediately? Thanks Don
  16. Not a bad morning with 2 wood ducks and 2 mallards but ended it with this beautiful guy. I have 8 Canadian bands on my lanyard but this is the first duck I've ever shot with jewelry so I was pretty pumped! I will update with info when I call it in a little later.
  17. I've even seen them at Kmart before. Call a few sporting goods stores and you'll be sure to find one.
  18. Post that video up Abruno I'd love to see it.
  19. You can't beat a flock of fat mallards falling down between the trees at you mrgroundhog!!!
  20. We had a nice little swamp area tucked into the timber. Cool spot to hunt
  21. Had a good hunt Sunday morning with a limit of wood ducks and a few mallards added in. Shot a great looking male woody that might end up on the wall. Got to introduce my future bird dog to her first duck as well.
  22. Awesome! Post up some clips if you get any Don. I'd love to see them
  23. Here's a few clips we got from that weekend too..https://vimeo.com/106310561https://vimeo.com/106310614
