So I've lived on the Hudson (just east of Saratoga) for about 7 years now and hunted geese every year I've lived here. For whatever reason the water right out in front of my house has been a constant roost area and holds birds just about year round. And it's been that way every year, until this one. There's none! As many know they started the big project of dredging the river earlier in the year and it just so happens a LARGE majority of it is happening about 4 miles upriver. I find it really hard to believe that the lack of birds and dredging have nothing in common. What do you guys think?
