True That. I believe that shows the age of today’s hunters and the chapters that hunters go thru. First time with a gun on Letchworth I went thru like 8 boxes of slugs as back then it was the stack them mentality. Now it’s more of a one on one with the best of them.

Yeah harmless when it takes years for a deer to succumb to CWD. 99.9% will die of other issues before the disease takes them out. There are test herds behind fence that have deer 3 years positive and still living the good life. Now ad in the fact that not all deer in a herd will ever contract cwd even being exposed makes cwd harmless in the big picture. Such has been proven for the last 60 years. Sucks that it’s a thing but it’s sure way down on the list of hazards a deer is going to die from in its short life.

Lol. Why of course. Would not expect anything different. Not sure where you keep coming up with 1000 acres of fenced when maybe a 20 acre piece of the farm holds the fenced deer business but Ok…

Lol. It’s really not a tough game to master them turkeys. Not sure why Bill thinks it’s like this overly hard thing to do. Smart bird no doubt but the human brain will always be smarter. Hell ole bill might be hunting some of the bloodlines off my farm. I let DEC in to trap birds twice back prob 7-8 years ago now. They really are a vermin when their numbers get high. They had a blast ripping into our Ag bags and spoiling lots of good feed in the process. Now I just feed them and the deer all winter to keep them away from the buildings.

Exactly. This really changes little for most as shown years past with all the early and late gun shots. Most will tell you they sit until they can’t see regardless. No clock needed. Put some snow on ground and it will be 45 minutes on each end for some.

You have to explain nothing to anyone. You killed more in days then these same ones knocking you killed in months of hunting.

You had a guy saying that deer is trash and it’s the same guy that gave others the advice to let deer lay overnight in the early season rather than push and lose when he had no idea of wound placement or length before death of animal. And if you go up a few more posts and take some more pics you will see where he invited me to his little party. He got exactly what he deserved.

And what makes ya think he doesn’t? Looks to me like he has him beat in the antler department this year so who knows. Point is ole Larry called this guy out with his petty comments to get a rise out of him just like his petty little comment to get a rise out of me. The only thing is that I have no problem calling his bull out. And I’m sure in due time Horn will learn to do the same.

So that gives him the right to shame and Downgrade how another hunters does their thing? If that’s the case I have an open season! And for a newer member dumping a late season buck like he did I would guess he is not real worried about what old Larry may have shot in the past.

If You have no clue what it takes to target any mature you might have an idea. You see I am lucky and smart enough to be able to have choices of mature deer to harvest on my ground because I in fact made it that way. You can go back 10 years and look at my harvests on this site alone if your looking for envious. Sorry if you can’t do or have any of the above but if you work real hard and learn from a successful Ny hunter of mature deer you may get there someday. Until then enjoy all the pic’s you see of other hunters mature deer harvests. Yearly.

6 cases of human to deer cases? Yet none shown? Swabbed 6 deer? So those deer were alive and interacted with humans? Sounds like the beginnings of another scientific money grab like they have used the harmless CWD for the last 50 years. Democrats!!

You have a problem when others say something about someone else’s deer they harvest, size,score,age…Which is opinion… But you use that same statement to make it ok for you to say something to someone else about how they treat their harvests?
