    Live from my kitchen.Had an adventure with some folks/family these past few days I hunted but no score for myself but there were 10 deer shot from our get together.2 little scrub bucks and does.great weekend for sure.I'm going to head out in the morning with the bow now that all the pressure is off.

    I agree somewhat but have yet to have any issues with eating fresh ground Beef not store ground for sure.I have eaten a sliver of backstrap but never tryed Tartare from venison.

    Most times Dec will ask you to take to where your shot was from.I had a lady call and report that I was hunting to close to her home,I was on State land and the officer wanted to no where I shot from and didn't asked me to show him to gut pile.He did use his wheel measure and proved the lady was wrong for the report

    Heading out soon for my mid day walk exercise.Had most of my sightings middle of the day.This time of the season I dont find sitting on post to be effective.Gotta get in their bedding areas with no more pressure on state land sightings will be low to no movement.

    Build blind and mow the field Going to fertilize and adjust to the new property.Just gained access to 400 acreas of private land.

    Yep Biz still Deer season.I have a Buck tag that is still open untill Dec31 with my bow in Westchester.

    I say and still live in Dutchess county why you ask cause this is my home.I stay in the area cause of the family.if you do not like this state then move or live your way .

    Thanks Big guy. I had a blast all weekend with my nephew and he shot a doe/his second sunday morning.I wasn't gonna go this morn cause of the fog when it cleared off did a little walking and she/the doe gave me a great broad side shot and I let it bark/and she buckled no tracking

    My first doe in 2 years down.I am happier than a dog shitting tac's 30 yrds with my Super single 20. What a nice day Just got her hung up for the nite and going back again in the morning

    My Beagle loves venison But I make sure its cooked and she gets no bones.being only a 13''she is to little to and my baby she does get some left over meat chicken scraps from dinner but try not to give her to much.Also onions,garlic is also no good for dogs.

    Headed out soon gonna do the 10-3.00 shift and see what happens.Still have 2 doe permits a buck tag and a muzzy/bow tag.I also have a freezer screaming at me to get it full.Nephew connected with another doe yesterday and I sent him home with 20+pounds of jerky.He had an ok first season no bucks but 2 does is great he is done wont be back until Xmas.

    I can tell ya this it burns stings worst than any hornet has burned me.Did take a shot of benadryl to stop the itch but has not yet worked got hand on ice to stop the swelling.

    My nephew just had an idea and going to try it at home in the sink.Going to try making back tag holders and also see how they work for a dry kit for our hunting packs/emergency kit.

    Did some pushing of the swamps and heavy brushed areas was able to push through some thorn bushes should have went back but decided on my route and got some stuck broke of in the hand.Any way to remove them ideas tried fishing with a needle but feel like they are going in and not coming to a spot to pull with tweezers.
