    Oldfashion diner food except made at home basic beef hamburger served over white bread and topped with gravy.

    Congrats to Grampy and everyone else that had a good hunt.I had 2 doe that was 200+yrds and that was it no shot with a 20 guage at that distance.

    Tongue is hard to cook.I find boiling them then skining and slice then toss in a hot fry pan with onions and pepper makes for a good sandwich

    I agree fried in butter is best.I was giving another idea from my family cookbook/Grandma's recipes

    I do a venison/heart spread 1 heart boiled in enough water to cover the heart and a few glugs of cider vinegar boill for about 1-1/2 hours let cool remove fatty tissue and and remainder unwanted place in food processer add 3 oz creamcheese 1tsp of each mustard garlic powder minced onions and salt/pepper.Process together and serve on toast or crackers.

    It was a blast having my nephew over to go out hunting.We seen afew but he was able to get his first deer/To most its a doe no big deal but for a new hunter 1st and will be his best in my Heart and mind forever.Uncle had to bail but he got some meat for the freezer.Good hunting and fun time

    This is seen in every hunting state.Some hunters only have the first weekend for gun hunting and they will hopefully take the deer they have taggs to do so.To older hunters/more exp can and do choose what they shoot.I am not against a new hunter shooting a deer of thier choice.

    For myself doe is game.If we only harvest or shot does for only 1 season and no Bucks this would hurt the antlers/bucks to be.

    That would be my post and was thinking the same thing.I had no other way of posting likes so that is what I did with no other comments to the thread.I also dont have the most up to date equiptment/just an old out of date apple pc from 1980's

    Mile marker's count lol.Does multi use areas count and if I had a camera to post I would.Also the only sign would be at parking area that I hunt all land there is marked with yellow paint.

    Beef Tallow works but doesn't have the fat content like pork,You can find a local Beef farm and they will give/sell you some.I do know beef tallow when rendered down makes the best oil for frying

    Trying to find an area in wmu 4Y 4T 4Z or 4U where I might get to hunt Biggame and Small game.Anyone that would share some information on these areas.
