How are you all doing with hunting smallgame?Been out 3 times and only shot 2 squirrel/I have only seen 1 rabbit and no bird's.

I am wondering if rain or snow is better for adding Nitrogen to the soil.I ask because we in my area are in lack of snow pack,I also think this will impact the soil for this comming garden season. how or what should one do to get the best use of the soil?

How does one become a Deer farmer/what are the requirement's needed to do so?How much land and what kinda permits would someone need to do this?This would not be for hunting but a food for donations

It works out well when most folks are trying to buy wood pellets I go to local farmer and buy whole corn from him.I also have my stove hooked into the heating ducts/forced air system

Tax on fire wood?I do not pay tax for pellets and they are bagged.

I have been using a pellet stove for 3 seasons now and it has saved me about 2500 in fuel.If you purchase your pellets in the off season they cost less than 3 dollars a bag.I have a quadrafire where I can burn three different types of fuel in it wood pellets cherry pits and whole corn.

It took alot of talking and he and I decided to go to gunshop and he purchased his very own.Very happy he is not anew firearm but new to him.We picked up a Mossberg 500 with both slug and bird for 175 out the door.

what do you all think?Is a deer most likely to see a square or circular blind?I have 1 of each one is domed shaped and the other is more square,I see more deer in the round/domed than the other maybe placement but not sure if the deer can make out the shape of blind any idea's?

This has not happened yet to myself but, I have been thinking of this if you are out deer hunting or smallgame and in wet conditions and temp's are at freezing and you firearm freezes/action how do you thaw them out?

I would bring for myself if you like I know I do good ole peanut butter and a spoon,some water about 8 liter and some hot chocolate.If near a fishing stream/lake a rod and some lite tackle maybe some salt and some foil.Also some fire starter.Dry clothes is a must
