Well the rain stopped for a few minutes here so I went out to change cards on the cams and as soon as I got to the first cam I heard rolling Thunder and the skies opened up on me. I took shelter under some Pines and waited it out. As I'm sitting there right in front of me I see this scrape. After about 5 mins the rain let up and I looked around to see if there were any sheds but once again the rains came. So I high tailed it out of there and back to the house. I was dripping wet. But at least I got to see this. ... Sent with Tapatalk on my Samsung Galaxy 4

Did I just hear Thunder? Geez! It's pouring deer and yotes outside. So much for shed hunting today. Will have to wait until tomorrow morning. Sent with Tapatalk on my Samsung Galaxy 4

Hey Wooly any hints or pointers you can give me? Where to start my search, in fields, woods, tree lines? Hoping the weather holds up.....

early Saturday morning with my BIL to check on the house. Hoping to set up my new cam and the lock box and do some shed hunting. Is it too early to shed hunt yet? Perhaps I'll take a walk in the field with my stogie and my rifle (in case I see a yote or two).

Well back in NY. So please someone remind me why did I leave 82 degrees, sunshine and clear blue waters for 18 degrees cold, slush puddle filled streets of NYC? Pinch me I must be dreaming Sent with Tapatalk on my Samsung Galaxy 4

Thanks man. A Happy & Healthy New Year to you and your family too. I will be thinking of you all freezing your butts off while I am sitting on the beach tomorrow chugging margaritas and watching the dolphins jumping around me in the sunshine and 85 degrees and just eating 24/7. Be safe and enjoy your celebrations. Sent with Tapatalk on my Samsung Galaxy 4

Since I won't be around or near cell or internet service the next few days I wanted to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year from Port Canaveral and the Bahamas.

I was born in 67 and grew up in a house with immigrant non-english speaking (well Greeklish speaking) parents. My mom was a stay at home mom and my dad worked in NYC from 5:30 am until 8:00pm 6 days a week in his own fur manufacturing business. We had strict rules regarding everything we did during the day and night. We all ate whatever mom made for dinner as a family or we starved. School was top priority for us. Boy Scouts was the main activity we did and my father went on every campout with us including a 14 mile hike on the Appalachian trail. No one hunted in my family. Religion was also top priority. Sunday school every week. We were disciplined by my dad with merely a look or a stare. Never got hit but my father's method was grabbing and twisting our sideburns which to this day I keep really short. I try to carry on those traditions and upbringing with my kids but with so many things going on in school and such it is really hard to keep them up. But one thing we always do is eat dinner together everynight whether its at 6 pm or 9pm.

Hope you enjoy your day!

Good to hear she's ok. I worry about Milo my 9 pound Maltipoo. He gulps his food down so fast so my wife cuts up any scraps into tiny pieces like she did for our kids.
