I've only had Bushnells and the last one I had lasted over 1 1/2 yrs on the same set f Lithium batteries until it got stolen last month. I just got a new one today and a metal lock box from Amazon for $128 shipped free.

T'was the morning before Sunday and I'm in my bathroom shaving, when I hear a loud noise, it was someone a knocking. I run down the stairs swinging open the door and what to my wandering eyes should appear but a big ole box from Amazon "oh dear"! I rush down to my office with this big box in hand and I search for the scissors to cut the adhesive band. As I open the box a smile forms from ear to ear as I see my new Bushnell and its new steel home suddenly appear. "You damn thieves better watch out now!" I use a food-saver and plastic vacuum sealing bags. Work great. But the meat has to be partially frozen otherwise the machine sucks up the blood. I also mark the bags with date of packaging and type of cut of the meat.

Update: no luck on finding out who stole my Bushnell Trophy cam. I loved that camera so much so I decided to order a new one today from Amazon and a camo lock box to protect it for a total of $128 shipped free. l am working on building a wireless streaming cam using a Foscam IP camera, cellular usb router and 3g/4g wireless card, power inverter and 6 volt battery all enclosed in a metal lockbox and all for under $250 and only $25 month through ATT that will be emailing me videos and pictures without having to disturb the area. This will be my winter project.

Just got home.. Boy that hot shower felt good. Overall the campout was a success! Good food, great company but dang it was cold this morning! It was so cold that my water bottle froze, and my phone battery died during the night. It was 19 degrees this morning! Thank God for the heated bathrooms! Time to invest in better equipment including a new tent as the one I had was more of a summer/early fall tent. I have 6 more years of boy scouting so it will be well worth the investment. Camping is great but as Dorothy said: "there is no place like home!"
