I do try my best to prep for the early bow season and I guess you are right about the snake oil. I've taken many deer with rifle and hoping for my first with a bow. Thanks for the confidence boost Ant. That was me one year too. Last year I missed on a doe and got busted by a 4pt but during Rifle - I took a doe and my 7ptr as seen in my avatar.

So then what am I supposed to use? I don't move or fidget, I play the wind....maybe I'm just not timing it right getting into stand. But I get into my stand in the dark and wait till first light. Back in my stand. Quiet except for new construction on adjoining property. Thats good it will send the deer to me lol I hope. Edit: ok enough with the heavy machinery. Picked up a Sony CRX220 HD camera for under $200 yesterday at Target. It was $199 and if you use or have a Red Card you get 5% off of that so I got it for about $190. They had the next model up for $250 because it had 8g built in memory. I bought a 32g card for $16 and still made out better. The Reviews were good for the most part. I needed one with better zoom and quality. Battery life is about 2 hours. I will see how it holds up this weekend.
