Steve both sides are to blame. The Republicans were too busy dumping billions into a war that never ends to do anything about healthcare. But Obama's crew applied this "band-aid" fix on a wound that keeps bleeding. The problem is that Obama's plan was not well planned and from what I read it only involved democrats. Regardless, millions have lost their plans because of the huge debacle where the website developers are blaming BO's administration and BO's administration is blaming the website developers. Endless blame game . . .

As ADKHunter said, Obama is pathetic. Between those clowns in Congress and our so-called leader, the national debt has increased, there are more people with their hands-out and people losing health coverage, not to mention the government shutdown! I soooo regret voting for him in 2008!!! I say get rid of them all and start fresh. Luckily I have a group plan through my wife's employer. But as of Oct. 1st, we now have a $2000 family deductible but our co-pays are the same. Premiums stayed the same as far as I can tell. They deduct it from my wife's salary.

Wish it was a bit colder in 4Y. But I'll take what I can get....

Welcome to the brotherhood! Remember. . . it's not all about the kill! Just being out there and experiencing what you experienced is the best part of hunting in my humble opinion.

We have an unwritten rule where we hunt. If you take a doe, then the buck must be 6 pts or better. I will be taking the first doe I see to put meat in my freezer. Then I will be waiting for her boyfriend to show up hopefully he will be an 8 or 10 that's been roaming around our area.

As Paula said: I'M SO EXCITED!!! And I just can't hide it . . . I know . . . I know . . . I want you . . .Mr. Big 10 pt. buck that's been roaming around my hunting land for the last three years. My Remy 30-06 is sighted in. I'm going to wash my clothes again tonight. Heading up Friday morning with my brother in law and father in law. The other two members (my brother and other BIL) of our usual group won't make it this year. Oh well . . . more bucks for me!!! I just hope and pray that my tree stand is still where I left it unlike my trail camera. . .

I agree and it would take away the whole idea of the challenge that comes with bow hunting. Although I'm sure some would argue that this would result in less wounded deer and better recovery. . .

Feels good to be back home after a long day in Queensbury NY. All the girls PR'ed today and one made it to All States Regionals.

Spent the evening in Lake George with good friends at Monte Cristos Bar and Grill and the night at Dunham's Bay Resort. Looking forward to watching my daughter compete in the NYS Cross Country Championships tomorrow. Damn its cold up here!!!

Irish, this is her first time making it to States and who knows if she will make it next year when shes a senior. Don't you know that family comes first before hunting? ..... WAIT! Did I just write that? My meds have not kicked in yet this morning! LOL!
