    So after worrying about the tear in the door panel and spending a few days trying to repair it, the car inspection went very well today. No charges. Inspection came out clean. Woot!

    Lol! Yeah, we live in a town on LI. At her age I would have chosen a car too. But she hasn't even taken her permit test yet. Go figure....

    We did. No car. She was given a choice of a party, cruise to Europe or a car. She chose the party like most 16 year olds would do. Lol

    I have to say this is the most ridiculous propaganda film North Korea ever put out. I could not stop laughing at it. It reminded me of those old Japanese Gozilla v. Mothra movies I used to watch as a kid. Their attempt to depict NYC being invaded by paratroopers and soldiers coming down off helicopters is so stupid that their parachutes would probably get stuck on the antennas that are on top of most buildings in NYC. That would be a funny sight watching these guys dangling!

    How sad and tragic this story is: A man in a custody dispute shoots his ex-wife (she survives), kills his 2 yo son and then kills himself. Prayers to the mother and the baby - RIP. The coward will hopefully burn in hell.     It's not on the seat. Its the drivers side door panel. I think I'm going to try the glue first and then get a leather repair kit to blend it in.

    I was thinking of building a feeding hen for the fall. We'll see how well this guy works first in May.

    I received an offer to lease a new 2013 Infiniti for $269/month for 24 months and 10k miles a year. Part of the offer includes paying off my remaining 3 months on my existing one, and up to $500 on wear and tear. My existing one is in good condition except for a small tear in the driver's side door panel. I was thinking of getting a repair kit to repair it myself but I never had any experience with any of such kits. Any suggestions on how to repair this tear? Or which kit to use?

    I have a B-mobile I bought off ebay few years ago and it too came curled up. I read online somewhere that you should open it up and place it over a wide box like a case of copy paper and leave it there for a week. I did it and it seemed to do the trick. When I store it after the season, I stick a 2x4 cut to size to fit inside touching the inside of the wings and prop it up out of the way.

    This not so brilliant guy from Michigan hits a deer and stuffs it in his truck thinking he's going to feed his family.
