1. Eeewww! I can gut a wild animal with no problem but I cringe at the site of a dead rat. LOL!
2. I think the influence is rubbing off...After dinner tonight he offered to wash dishes - I hope this mentality lasts......
3. My son told me last night at camp that he liked camping better than being on x-box. Needless to say my mouth was left agape.
4. It certainly was a great time. Only downside was sleeping on the ground. I used my brother's subzero mummy bag and a pad. But the ground was cold and damp eventhough I footprinted my tent with an extra tarp. Forgot that I am 46 and not 12 years old anymore. A lot more difficult sleeping on the ground now. LOL! Going to be picking up a folding cot, and a self inflating mat for the next trip.
5. With my son and his Boy Scout troop 253 on his first overnight camping trip and my first in 35 years at Camp Seton Greenwich CT. It brought back so many great memories. It was cold last night and this morning. Thank God for thermals and hot coffee. My son standing in front of a tent he helped pitch. Never thought I'd see my son doing KP duty
6. I'm listening to the Aunt (from Canada) of the bombers accusing others of setting the two boys up. Says that the surveillance pictures were staged. Then why the hell did they run?? Throw bombs at police? Kill a cop? Why didn't they turn themselves in like that other 17 year old who was shown on the front page of the NY Post and cleared his name. Makes me sick to my stomach. Lock this bitc* up!!!
7. Found a live Yahoo stream being posted by Yahoo listening to police scanners in the Watertown Area. They have a 60ish y.o. Russian on the ground cuffed wearing a IED vest?? http://news.yahoo.com/control-room/
8. Like I said on another thread, a bullet to the head of these type of individuals by a firearm held by a law abiding gun owner is the only thing that will stop them.
9. yesterday's Senate's rejection of the Gun Control bill. He said: "Children lost, they’re going to die, and the criminals won — I think that’s the only ways to phrase it". What BS comment is that??? I don't live in NYC - thank God - (no offense to those who do and have to deal with this uninformed self-serving politician - I feel sorry for you) What doesn't he and most of those who voted for the bill yesterday get?? There is nothing that will stop those who intend to do harm to others, (whether they are using a gun, a hammer, knife or a pressure cooker packed with explosives), better than a bullet to the head from the firearm of a law abiding citizen. Rather than pushing more background checks like the ones proposed they should enforce the ones that are already on the books. Stop with the BS feel good laws already! And To quote Ted Nugent: "Leave us the hell alone!" I'm done ranting . . .
10. It was only just a matter of time that some dumba$$ politician would propose something like this.
11. Live feed on Yahoo underway on assault weapons ban - http://news.yahoo.com/video/abc-news-plus-special-report-220000361.html
12. Now they evacuated Boston Fed Courthouse and a downtown hospital. WTF??
13. Now they are reporting no one in custody and no arrest.
14. CNN is reporting that the bombing suspect was Identified and just arrested based on video surveillance of the suspect placing one of the black bags. He's described as a dark skinned male. No other information. There will be a press conference at 5:00pm. Edit: Just announced no one in custody and no arrest. Not sure what to believe anymore.
15. I am sooooo ready to get it done this year!!!
16. I will be sitting in my blind putting the bead on a big ole Tom!!!
17. Oh my! May 1st cant come fast enough.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
18. Truly sad day. No one in custody yet. Just heard it from BO.
19. Sitting on a jury can be a great inconvenience to many. But without juries our legal system would be even more flawed than what it is already. I've been called a few times and was always excused partly because I'm a lawyer and partly because I'm a solo practitioner and my office will come to a standstill if I'm not there. As a trial lawyer I am always careful on what day of the week to actual schedule jury selection. I would never do it on a Monday or Friday because most jurors are not in the proper mindset - thinking of the past weekend or wishing the weekend was upon them. I also will not select a jury on the day before or on the day of a coming winter storm because their minds are on - "how am I going to get home". With that being said, although most people regret having been summoned to JD, many do look forward to sitting in the "cental jury room" just to get away from the everyday hustle, whether its catching up on paperwork or just reading a good book.
