    Just had a buck go by on the neighbors, couldn’t tell what it was. First deer seen since opening morning.

    They Work! I start them in June/July. Overhanging branch is the key.

    I added up my totals on my bow hunters log 2020. 22 - days hunted 98 - hours hunted 28 - bucks seen 16 - does seen 19 - fawns seen 3 - unknown deer Pretty sure I’m done till the regular season, but it was an enjoyable bow/crossbow season.

    Nice double lung shot. Went about seventy yards. Seven pointer.

    Had a nice , I think seven cruise by. I rattled at him when he went out of sight and here he comes. I grunted at him and he looked my way, made a rub and a scrape and came right in. He did not get a pass. Pics to come!

    If someone has an illegal bait sight that will alter deer movement.

    Just had a seven pointer come through at 20 yards. He got the pass.

    Tough decision but I just let a nice six point I call Thrasher go. He went by at 5 yards. I knew if I ever got him in range it would be a tough choice.

    I am definitely rooting for some shade! Probably another 20 minutes till the sun hits the tree line. Although a 4 point just went through.

    I know the name but I don't recall ever meeting him. There is about a 34 year difference between the two of us.

    Nothing seen today. Thought I smelled one on the way out, two steps later and I heard one bound away. I am part hound dog!

    Didn't hunt this afternoon, but when I got home I watched at least 6 bucks chasing in the field by the house. All small bucks but it is picking up. Looking forward to the morning.

    A spike just fed through and I saw another deer in the distance.which looked like a doe.

    Just had one of my shooters walk through. Never got closer than 50 yards. He worked a scrape and headed over the hill towards a bedding area. This is my 4th encounter with him since bow opened.

    Bumped one on the way in close to my stand. I could smell the ruttiness on him. He didn’t take off, just a couple leaps and bounds. Basically he let me walk right past him. Good luck all!

    Those two youngsters finally got up. Started feeding and rubbing when a third 1 1/2 year old came in and started pushing one around. Nothing serious but a neat show. All three left together

    These two bucks have been laying under my stand for two and a half hours. I feel like their mom. Don’t want to spook them, I hate giving up my location but I’m gonna have to piss eventually

    Two 1 1/2 yo bucks came in, did some sparring and now laying down.

    I've never had much luck during a full moon, and this year was no exception. Saturday I sat for 7 hours and drew a blank. Sunday I sat from 9:30AM - 1:30PM and nothing. Monday I sat from noon till dark and saw nothing. This afternoon I finally got back into some action with a couple of fawn sightings and a small 8pt. I've been in deer all season until that full moon hit. Some of you guys had amazing hunts during that moon phase. I am definitely glad to see that moon getting smaller.
