Most backpacks are at least 18" high . I haven't tried the board thing . Just considering trying it . The blocks you suggested sounds like a good idea .

For me , it depends on which boots I am wearing as to whether my toe will fit into the stirrup . I was thinking about putting a 3'x12' piece of wood in my backpack to use when cocking the crossbow . Slip an end of the board across the stirrup and stand on the board to cock the crossbow. I would do this as last resort .

Thanks for the responses . I plan to put about 2 1/2# of venison burger in some chili and make it in a 5 quart crock pot . The plain venison burger is 2 years old .

How long of a time is it safe to eat frozen venison ? I have eaten burger that was almost 3 years old . At what point is it unsafe to eat ?

Makes me wonder how rough it's going to be for my oldest daughter . She gets to pull the plug on me . I try not to piss her off !

Had it happen last night . Went in the Family Room and watched 2 episodes of "YellowStone" . Came back to see if i could get on the site and was able . Ran WebRoot and it showed no problem . Still waiting for my $1000 Gift Card from WalMart !

It's working here on Google Chrome , Firefox and Internet Explorer .

I just ran a WebRoot scan and it showed Safe .......

I was locked out for a while last night also . On Google Chrome , Webroot Safety said the site I was trying to reach was dangerous. I couldn't get on by using Firefox or Internet Explorer either . P.S. -- I didN't win any of the prizes either !

Thanks everyone . It's going to take some getting used to Max being gone . I removed his dishes , emptied and washed out his litter box and removed as much of his stuff as I could . It seems weird not having him come around looking to be petted . I have a lot of his toys , food , cat litter , etc to get rid of . 4 of my kids have cats so that won't be a problem . Thanks again ! We are having Max cremated so he will still be with us .

Had to put Max down this morning . We have had our 18 year old cat , Max, for 16 years and he has been a wonderful friend . Max would follow my wife around the house and seek attention . Max would jump on my lap when I was in the LazyBoy chair and reach for my hand to pet him and scratch his head . He was a house cat and only got outside once . Max had bladder cancer that was inoperable . He wasn't in pain but he wouldn't eat and lost a lot of weight . It got to a point when he would just drink and go pee in the litter box . He wouldn't eat . Putting him down was really tough but we did what was best for Max and not for us . I wouldn't stay in the room when they gave him the needles . I miss my friend already .

Not worried . Just having fun .
