    Two of my sons have motorcycles ( not crotch rockets ) . The guys on regular motorcycles seem to be okay . The Crotch Rocket guys seem to be a bit nuts hauling butt and weaving in and out of traffic on the expressway .

    I want to pack light for the Alaska trip . Many years ago , there was an article in Popular Science where a Japanese inventor came up with a brilliant idea .... 3 legged undershorts . They lasted 6 days . You would put them on , the second day you rotate the legs and again on the 3rd day . On the 4th day you turn them inside out and do the same rotation . I wish I could find the magazine article . It was a hoot !

    Actually I know the cost . It's listed at the end of the Travel Packet . I choked when I saw it but it's only money . There goes part of my kids inheritance !

    Sure .... I don't know the cost . My wife is paying for it . I think she may have gotten me a One Way Ticket . We leave June 30 which is our 56th wedding anniversary .

    We are going on a 16 day tour which includes Anchorage , Prince William Sound , Fairbanks , Denali National Park , Kenai Fjords National Park , Gulf of Alaska , Glacier Bay National Park , Juneau , Ketchikan , Inside Passage and Vancouver . The whole thing is guided and we will not be doing any driving . T.F. ---- Thanks for the weather info !

    Has anyone been in Alaska in early July ? The wife and I will be going there and I am wondering what the weather is like that time of year . Friends said to take rain gear . I would like to pack light and don't want to take ant unnecessary clothing / gear along that would just take up baggage space . No , it won't be a hunting trip .
