Lucky for me that I am less than 20 miles from Beikirch's and they have a good supply of powder .

I was at F$S in Henrietta last week . They had the ammo boxes and also the 20 round boxes on the shelves . I just got off the phone with Jeff at the DICKs / F&S store in Latham ( 518-213-3478 ) . He said that have plenty of 223 ammo in the stores . He also said that they have plenty of 5.11 tactical clothing as they are near a Police Academy and they also have the US flag patches .

I just called DSG in Henrietta . He said that they have plenty of 223 ammo on the shelves and they havn't sold the 5.11 tactical clothing in a couple years as it wasn't moving . Might be that they don't trust the folks around Latham with 223 ammo .

I would say that mowin , the OP, has a buddy that just might be full of crap . I called the DSG in Webster and spoke to the guy in the gun department . He said that they sell 223 ammo and have about 2000 rounds on the shelves if I wanted any . As for the 5.11 tactical clothing , they havn't had that in the Webster store in two years because it wasn't a seller . Very little demand for it . He did state that they no longer carry 7.62X39 ammo that is used in the AK47 rifles .

I will stick with my 25-06 . I have a 223 and would never consider using it to shoot deer .

Quality control was (and is) very tight; the goal is MOA (or better) accuracy from factory loaded .17 HMR ammunition. The result of all this is the highest velocity, flattest shooting, and most accurate rimfire small game and varmint cartridge ever produced.

I was looking at some of my non-working trail cams last night . I have at least 8 . I might post them on Craig's List and see if someone might buy them to use a decoys . I also came across one of my original cams that uses a Compact Flash card that are 1 5/8 X 1 3/8 inches . I don't think I have anything that would read these cards anymore .

The Bills now have 2 1st round , 2nd round and 2 3rd round picks . They could trade some draft picks for a veteran QB or pick a QB in the draft . They have a lot of options . I enjoyed watching "T Mobile" play as he was quite elusive but those 5 yard passes just weren't cutting it . I hope the Bills can land a veteran QB in the meantime .

A couple of pet peeves that I have are ------ Lazy a-holes that don't put their shopping carts in the supplied racks . Sometimes they are only a couple spaces away . I park out a ways to be away from the shoppers and still end up with dings / scratches from carts . Another is the lazy slobs that don't clear the snow and Ice off of the roof of their vehicles . I stay back a ways from them as I got a chip in my windshield from a piece of flying ice . We have become a nation of slobs ! Volunteers clean up the garbage along the highways and two days later it is littered again !

I have one of the old 35mm trail cams . It got to be expensive to process film and get pics of absolutely nothing .

It wasn't a "snow day" but my wife and I went to see "GAME NIGHT" . It is a comedy / thriller . We went at the 12:20 showing in Webster . 20 minutes of coming attractions and there was only 3 of us at that movie . I would recommend it .

That looks like a Mimeograph machine that they used to run off test papers in school . I occasionally install / remove Real Estate signs for a guy . He sends me the orders via fax . I can plan my route the night before I work .
