That is exactly what my oldest son did . Matt has 3 or 4 recurves and makes his own footed shafts for his arrows . His younger son who just turned 10 has been shooting a stick bow for about a year . Matt went from compound to recurve about 10 years ago .

Good point . many teachers have been arrested for various infractions . I doubt they would try to get a handgun permit .

Welcome to Hunting NY . A lot of what is taught at the course is repetitive and they cover what is taught on the test . No big deal on the youngsters being there . Just pay attention . Good luck !

I will use my crossbow the last two weeks when it's allowed and still don't want full inclusion . Attention --- don't shoot my deer .......

I paid over $10,000 for my whole house generator . Power went out at least 3 times last year .... at least that's what my neighbors told me . WE had lights , heat , tv , computer , sump pump operating etc.. Gave me peace of mind when going on any vacations which made it worth it .

I bought the Barnett Decelerator de-cocking bolt at F&S for $15 . I shoot this before getting down from a tree stand . It doesn't work shooting it at a distance from the ground as it will skip rather than stick from the ground . I also bought a de-cocking bag last fall that I keep in the car and use a target bolt with this . Here is a link to what the de-cocking bolt looks like . I carry 5 arrows in my compound quiver . Two have target points . After sitting a while in a stand , I pick a clump on the ground and shoot one of the target arrows . I also shoot a few times at the backyard target on occasion . No need to do this with my crossbow .

I enjoy Bow Season over gun season . If Full Inclusion happens , my compounds will collect dust and I will strictly use the crossbow . No more practice . Just shoot a half dozen bolts to check the scope out and I'm all set .

I have been using PayPal for years . Seems like the safest way to pay . I use it mostly for EBAY purchases .
