That was a decent sized yote . Many of the farmers like them as they keep the deer population down . I have been told by a couple farmers never to shoot a coyote on their property .

Spent a little while observing deer in a spot where we have permission to hunt . Saw several deer but got some close-ups of a buck , fawn , coyote and doe .

Rob , are there any Alpine dealers near you ? If so , they may have some parts laying around the shop . Check it out . I am only 5'8" and was shooting with a 29" draw that I was sure was okay . I had to kind of distort my body to shoot . Got a bow with a 28" draw and what a difference . Good luck .

I bought a half dozen Victory Decimator Bolts and they group well at 30 yards . You can even order the bow from Wal-Mart for $278 and if you don't like it , it would be easier to return . Most of the cameras recommend Alkaline Batteries . Heavy duty batteries don't last long .

I havn't dried anything and later cooked with it . My wife has sliced apples and bananas and put them in the de-hydrator and they taste great . she has also done that with tomatoes and cherries . The dried apple slices were nice for deer season .

I have a Tru-Glo single pin sight on two bows and like them . I bought a 4 pin sight with a light , opened the package and decided I would stick with the single pins . Wasted $60 - $70 .

I am not really into Cross-bows but my youngest son was interested . He doesn't have the cash to buy one and I told him about Field Archer's review plus I saw a review in one of the magazines that had the bow rated high . It was $250 but the price was raised to $278.17 . I figured it would go up again so I ordered one with the thought that my son could pay me in installments ( or I would just give it to him ) . Total price with tax was $302.16 . Two days later it was delivered from Bowhunters Outlet in NYC which explained the extra tax . I put it together last week and hung it on a rack . Bought some extra bolts and rail lube at Dicks . Late yesterday afternoon I got it out along with a tripod and tried it out . Found that the scope wasn't tightened into the rings and fixed that . Shot it at 20 yards and made adjustments and then shot it at 30 yards . Was impressed with the accuracy and ease of consistency of hitting a 2 inch bullseye at 30 yards . Only took about 20 shots . Minimal practice needed to be accurate . I will have to give it a try sometime shooting off hand . Anyway , I was impressed with the accuracy of the Centerpoint Sniper 370 Crossbow and wouldn't even have given it a thought if it hadn't been for Field Archer's review . Not sure that I want to come over to "The Dark Side" .

Nothing worse than those mean little ground bees . They have gotten me a couple times in the past few years . Don't know they are there until you are right on top of them . Then it's too late !

Don't use your scope in place of Binos . Nothing scarier than having someone looking at you through a rifle scope !

I'm a day late with this . My wife's cousin came from Buffalo to stay a couple nights as I had gotten tickets fot tonight's Bills Practice in Pittsford . She purchase a Pork Loin Roast Saturday for me to Smoke Sunday . I asked why in heck she got the roast instead of a shoulder or butt and she said it was my fault because I hadn't gone in the store with her . I prepped the meat Saturday afternoon , put it in plastic wrap and the in the fridge . I also put up a canopy on the patio as rain was forecasted for Sunday . Got up at 5:45 Sunday and pre heated the smoker . Put the meat in at 6:30 , had some coffee , read the paper and went to church . Had breakfast with friends . Put more apple chips in the smoker and sprayed apple juice on the meat a few times the next couple hours . After 7 1/2 hours I placed the meat on tin foil and added some apple juice and wrapped it up . Back in the smoker for 3 hours and although it wasn't at 200 degrees , we were hungry and I took it out . Let it cool for only 15 minutes . Placed it on a large platter and pulled it apart with a couple forks . Meat fell right off the bone . Had it on burger buns and it was delicious . Used a little bit of Sweet Baby Ray Sauce on it . No complaints from anyone .
