  1. I'll be in at 6:15. The wife has a baby shower on Sunday afternoon for our baby on the way. Thank god the baby is not coming until the middle of december.
  2. I think I would have a harder time sleeping if the forecast was better than monsoon conditions. I think Sunday is going to be the better day after all the crap blow through. I have two does in the freezer from nuisance permits and the buck activity will probably be minimal, but it will be nice to be back in the tree for sure.
  3. I am looking forward to it. I wish it was going to be cooler. All the stands are set, bow is money, all I need is the big 8 point i had on my trail cam step out in front of me. of course it was 37 degrees that morning. I will be happy taking a doe out of the herd, which i do not think will be a problem.
  4. I found 4 scrapes this week and was not looking for them. One happened to be right in front of one of my trail cams. I had a five 1.5-2.5 yr old bucks work it. I put down some buck urine to see what happens.
  5. I have a few deer running around my property like this guy. My dad and I would let this guy walk and hope that he stays where the food and cover is so he could make it another year. They will all not make it, but you can't have 3.5+ bucks if they are shot when they are 2.5.
  6. Looks like a great spot for a little food plot in the woods
  7. I plan on using these or the groundhog forage radish next fall. I have read a lot of good things about them. I would plant them along with winter rye and some winter peas to give the deer a good variety in one plot rather than as a single planting
  8. frogs do not get in that one that is barely off the ground? Do these just stay filled from rain water?
  9. I have a 2007 Elite Synergy and actually went back to it after shooting a bowtech. The back wall on the Elites I have shot gives me a lot of confidence to hold for a long time. In some of the earlier models the draw cycle was a little stiff, but the newer ones draw smooth and are very quite. I will be looking at buying a used 2010 GTO or GT500 next year.
  10. If you see a shooter, and he goes out of sight and you attempt to call him back with a grunt or rattle bag. Grab your bow as soon as you are done because he can come back in a hurry and you don't want to be caught with your pants down with a shooter at 10 yards like me.
  11. I am selling my remington 11-87 Slug Gun. It is a 20 gauge fully rifled barrel, that has a trigger job, barral has been pinned, and has a Damar scope mount from DaMar gunsmith in Weedsport, NY. I am asking $435.00. I can send pics if you email me at [email protected] or call me at 315-751-1152. I live in Syracuse
