On a more serious manly question - fireplace question

I can't believe they didn't test it but if it is the thermocoupler they can build up deposits. I have a no vent NG heater in my garage and every year I have to pull the coupler out and lightly hit the exterior with 200 grit sand paper. works like a charm for the next year. -

Buckmaster. I just looked them up and they are very interesting. i like the Encore that I have and use it for rifle, pistol and ML. What do you see as an advantage of these over the Encore system? Do the triggers seem pretty consistent to one another? -

They aren't complex systems. Usually only two options. Thermocouple of bad gas control valve. I can't believe the control valve is proprietary to the manufacturer but the service companies shy away from component replacements that the manufacture don't supply as a unit. You should be able to get the make model and numbers off the control valve and they aren't hard replacements. the biggest PITA is the small work area. Hell for 1200 you are about in a new gas fireplace. -

I remembered portions of that as well. Back then we never did any pistol or rifle hunting so it never really made a lasting impression. -

I just ran it by an older DEC officer I know becasue I thought I remembered a regulation that it was .25 caliber centerfire or bigger years ago. I know there was also a pistol restriction for caliber size so I may be mixing the two but he remembered it as I did. I googled and apparently old regs aren't on. hell there wasn't computers then...lol -

I am sure the second actual gift card was pocketed and the second swipe was for the $25 value that needed to complete the sale. -

I would bet it would be off the owners property. And personally i can't see ever doing this anyway. Now let me find one digging and $hitting in my mulched flower beds and that certainly is a capital offense. -

We had a $25 head of lettuce at Wegmans last week. computer.....crap in....crap out. Wonder how many never noticed it? I may have been one of them if I hadn't only been getting a head of lettuce. the cashier gave me the total and I looked at her like she was kidding. Then I asked her if show thought that could possibly be right. Took minutes before it dawned on her. -

just for the record the handout and the online are NOT the regulations and may NOT be inclusive of all Environmental laws. Worth having for reference http://public.leginfo.state.ny.us/lawssrch.cgi?NVLWO: For those of you that have friends that love to party at camp, check out Article 11, Title 12. -

And you could probably take one with a .223 as well. Personally, I like to challenge myself and push the limits on my shootign ability, but that is a game for paper in my book. When it comes to game I believe we owe it to the animal to shoot the firearm that we can shoot proficiently, most likely to deliver a wound that will be deadly in a fast time frame and leave the largest room for shooter and unforeseen errors/variables. We should also know enough to select the correct bullet for whatever firearm or animal we are hunting to achieve the same above. To me the 223 for deer and certainly the 243 for moose wouldn't fit that for me. -

Wasn't the conversation the .223/5.56 VS other rifles? Penetration IS a main consideration when selecting a breaching weapon. Each weapon best suited for it's niche. the 5.56 poses less of a risk for over penetration that using a 308. And the 5.56 does not have the needed features for longer range precision with a hard hit so that is why many snipers use the 30 cal.s I do agree that the .223 is a close range round. If I had to use one I would want to stay inside of 75 yards. -

It's all about bullet selection. If I had a '06 I wouldn't go for the 270. not enough difference in performance. I'd go for the 243 and really increase you ability. varmint to Moose with what you have in 2 rifles. -

A main consideration in "infiltrating buildings" is over penetration of the target and walls that could cause unintended injury. -
