I would bet most Troopers, sheriffs and Local LEO's don't know the majority of the game laws.

Reloading cost vs store bought ammo

I thought you would bite and look into the pinning in the reloading section? -
Fair enough. Everyone needs to determine what is important and be able to look themselves in the mirror and their children in the eyes and be at peace that they did all they could do
-
I am not judging and by no means some big activist. But I would think the reasons you just stated to NOT do anything would actually be the best reason TO do something

Wonder if the Moderators could pin a thread in the reloading section so we can put links to suppliers we have used and had good luck with. -

if these two were not onthe list I would add them. Very handy for precise rifle loads. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/540522/lee-perfect-powder-measure http://www.midwayusa.com/product/487186/redding-5-powder-trickler -
she is luck she didn't need a cast.

Reloading cost vs store bought ammo
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Doewhacker's topic in Reloading
Eddie is mostly right. I could find better pricing than Midway when I got mine but it would have meant splitting orders and the amount of savings just wasn''t worth it. I got everything I needed from them. Really look into that Lee Turret press. You won't be disappointed, especially if you are loading multiple calibers. once a turret is set up with the dies it is plug and play in seconds to switch dies. And as I have said before I use it in single stage mode for rifle and manually turn the turret but for pistols of plinking rounds out of a rifle using a short caliber like the 223 I use the auto index and I can put out about 150 rounds an hour once it is set up. -
Why is it about 'confrontation" and not about what is legal and right?
-
I have had hard to find pin holes. The only way I found two fo them was to fill them with water. It flows both ways...lol. Mark the area and dy the out to repair.
-
I can't believe you made that comparison. So you carry but hope you never need it? I hope those rights are still there too if you ever need them. Quit paying attention to them and not letting the Govt know we won't let go of them easily and they will not be there when you do need them. As I said before. THEY decided to raise the bar. If it costs me some time to prove a point I will spend the time.

They still need cause for a warrant. If they have it then go get it. If not I will be on my way. I didn't use to have this attitude but they are the ones that decided to raise the bar so game on
-
Listen. I am not saying don't comply. Just know and understand what you HAVE to do and make you choices accordingly
-
They need probable cause an illegal activity has taken place. If the tag isn't filled out right or the date cut. Any violation them all bets are off. You can show them the deer and that harvest is NOT grounds to search your gun case
-
If I had only those three guns to choose from I would pick the 308. Then the 20 then the 223. With the 308 a quartering to shot will break the shoulder and still have plenty of energy when it gets to the vitals.
-
Ok I am lost. Are you agreeing or disagreeing with me. Lol
-
Yup you did. And it still specifies "cause". There still is no authority to search without cause
-
Only if you allow it.
-
You may want to go check that. I personally know ECO and probable cause IS still their standard. They can request and you must comly if the weapon is in plain sight or they can search without consent if you are arrested for another crime. Other that that is is all probable casue. and them asking if you have a weapon IS NOT probable cause to search it.
-
you had a rimfire in your car in a no rifle zone?
-
If you conduct yourself as WNY said there would be no lying. If they asked to se my long guns they would be headed for a warrant to do so. Why? Becasue that is how the game is played. If they want more rules they better be prepared to play by all of them as well.

Costs of putting in a larger plot.
Culvercreek hunt club replied to agross's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I am sure plots in conjunction with this approach would be a great adition but if I was starting with a mature wood lot to start I think I would take this approach first. If there are marketable logs on it it could fund some nice plots as well.
