  1. Someone stole my accelerator plus.... loved that bow. Light and fast ( for its age ) glws
  2. Live from the crapper....Held off going out till now. Way too rainy and windy first thing this am. Scent free shower then off to the stand
  3. This isn't a stand it's a replacement seat... and that's why there are harnesses.
  4. I have the arctic sport which with the right pair of socks I'm comfortable from spring turkey to late ML. I'll never buy anything else
  5. Easily. Practiced a few times for shooting, and I leave it up when I'm gone. Seems the top part is still at the same height as the original so your 4" is really below not 4" higher
  6. I've had this direct outdoors hang on stand for 4 seasons. The seat it came with was not that comfortable so I always packed one of those cushy foam 5$ jobs and was satisfied. This year my seat started to get very noisy, to the point where I could barely move and it would still make god awful noises. They only wanted 25$ for a replacement, but I wanted to explore my options. Did a little research and found slumper seats. was going to go with just the bottom but spent the extra 20$ to get the seat and back combo. It's the super slumper model. It's got a 4" butt pad and a 1" back. Made from some super soft fleecy like material that is super quiet and waterproof. In fact I don't think I can even make a noise if I try. Longest sit so far was 7 hrs and it was a treat. About 4hrs into it I fine tuned the straps to give me a little bit more " recline " and it's been that way since. 3 things I was worried about, 1. Sound 2. Was the 4" going to turn into 1" after a couple hours 3. Did I waste my money on getting the back section All 3 questions have been answered and I am extreamely impressed. No noise, the 4" pad stays 4" ! I guess I would like a 2" back but the 1" does a great job of keeping my back comfy. thoroughly impressed with the product and glad to know it's all made in the usa, something portrayed by the company to be of upmost importance. they make all kinds of replacement seats too, ladder stand, hang on, ground seats etc. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. By gun season I will have new seats in all my ladder stands. Just hope the tree rats leave them alone !

  11. Had a close encounter with my number 1. He never looked at me but on my way out I walked right up on him at 12 yrds. Why did I walk out without an arrow knocked !!!?????!!! No shot. He snorted and took off but still never looked at me. Looked like he was having a real hard time walking...didn't see any blood where he was so I checked my pic of him... 3 legs ? I thought it was just moving and not in pic but seeing him hobble I think different !
  12. Surprisingly slow. Munks, squirrels and geese are all I hear !

  16. As far as scents go, I think scent prevention is an important lesson for any new hunter ! Start there, that way when they come in they stay in !
  17. Apparently my first post didn't work... but I get the cheapo water bottles and my solution is to keep them at room temp and wrap the bottle with duct tape. It works perfect. Give it a try
