  1. She is still with us. Thank you all.
  2. But it is illegal to pass through NYC with firearms. The checkpoints are for Covid-19 not your hunting weapon.
  3. Thank you all. One of her favorite things was to hear rainfall on the roof and sleep to it. I have it playing on my laptop next to her. Calm.
  4. I think most of you know my 87 year old Mom beat Covid-19. She was released back to assisted living where she could not regain taste or appetite. Her kidneys started failing her so here we are at the end of such a beautiful life. I'm spending the night with her. There are six children and we will all take turns. Lost my Dad 2 years ago but I (will admit it) was a Momma's boy. She is the greatest thing on earth next to my own children. I hope God takes her soon and she is reunited with my Dad. I know this community did a lot of praying for her and I thank you for that. We all don't have the same views but when it's family, life and death we are united as one. Love you guys, Burt (First-Light)
  5. Good luck. Make sure you check on the zone you are in and any restrictions on antler size or sex of deer.
  6. Met him once at Swietzers processing. Nice guy. I go to DJ's in Bath. Real nice mount!
  7. My dog actually walks great on the leash wearing this.
  8. Took Oak out for a walk today. I bought a Trueharness off of facebook last month. We walked for two hours. Towards the end of the walk the dogs front leg hit the chest buckle and there was slight pressure on the leash. The whole thing let go and he ran into traffic. Thankfully all drivers involved avoided him. He also listened to me and sat down and waited for me to grab him. Dog was so scared it all happened in a split second. I did some digging on the reviews and others have had the same story. I would stay away from it.
  9. I remember this post from years ago. I developed floaters. Annoying at times but I can deal with them. Along with the floaters when I shut my eye I get a short flash blob that lasts for a second. Never had this. Physical is in two weeks I'll bring it up.
  10. I should of taken a picture of the bar he built but this is the thing that caught my eye or pee! Urinal out of a keg! Awesome set up works great!
  11. My Mossberg 500. Missed so many deer with it........or was it me?
  12. Vet said antlers are fine but no rawhide. It tends to get stuck in the intestines if is too big.
  13. So I'm spending some time with my daughter. She has a white lab about 75lbs. I have Oakley who is about half her size. They play tug a war with a rope. They were having a great time then one of them picked up a 4 pt horn I gave Oakley. They started to go at it over that and one of the tines went into the labs eye. She is ok. My point (no pun intended) is maybe saw off the sharp points especially if two dogs involved. My guys are ok but I would hate to see a dog injured this way.
  14. Nice my guys loves the water also
