Thank you all for the great wishes. Turned 62 today. Woke up and felt like it was any other day. Until my Daughter called me at 6 am wishing me a happy birthday! That was nice. All my best to you guys!

Doc most family lives south of me. Spring break is next week and I'll head down there for 5 days. See my kids and finish it off with Easter at West Point. Thank you!

Didn't Wisconsin's Deer population dwindle when CWD hit the herd? They are still reporting that it is hurting the population in 2025. I guess I would take a few more precautions and have the deer tested.

So I've read a few stories about CWD. Ohio had 24 cases last year. What would you do if your county became a hot spot for DWD? I guess you would be allowed to hunt but any game taken would have to be tested? Even if it tested negative would you still eat it? Would field dressing change for you? I don't wear gloves most of the time that could change. I know there is no known cases of CWD spreading to humans. It sure would put a damper on things big time. Thoughts?

Thanks my Sister made that years ago. She was good with stained glass.

Sister in law got it from a friend. The friends Dad caught it in Aruba in the 80's. Had no place for it so my sister in law took it. They tried it in their house and it didn't work. She gave it to me this weekend and now has its forever home! In excellent condition!

I was about the same as you Doc here in Howard. Just seemed like it stayed cold for long periods of time. Ice was bad! I have a 10x20 wood shed and used about 3/4 of it so far. Been cutting a few times and hope to have it filled again by end of next week. I like to be done in the spring. That way no pressure in the fall and may do a few trees if come across some that fall.
