I picked up a pair of 2xl pia to slip over the muck boots but well worth it. On the really cold days you can toss a few hand warmers in the boot slippers and your feet will be crazy warm. -
I remembered thinking when you posted that last year that's something I could picture myself doing some time down the road. Lol Wasn't that also the last day when you forgot your gun?

I love my cva wolf I've taken 7 deer with it in the past 3 seasons. Their customer service is amazing. While cleaning my wolf 4 or 5 years i broke the weld where the gun breaks open completely my fault. I called cva customer service they told me to keep the old gun and and would send me a new one 3 days later on black friday I received a new gun. -
I wish. This year I'll be no buck and no gun red. Lol

Leave them on and shoot through them.

With the holidays close and the boys hockey practices today I was gonna go out for a few hrs of hunting at a local spot in the middle of the day today. At 915 I pull up to my spot in East Aurora toss on my boots neck gator grab my backpack. I go to the back seat to grab my muzzle loader where the F is my gun. I call home to make sure that I forgot it in the garage and not in the driveway yup it's in the garage. Back at home changed clothes and off to take my youngest to hockey practice. Here's my sign lol.

I've had them hang around before also and don't like it. This wouldn't didn't hang around. While following the blood trail I jumped 2 deer with my luck it was the little one and maybe a buck that was hanging back with the big toe that I shot. Lol -

I haven't been out in 2 weeks and my wife was able to work from home for a couple of hours this morning that meant I could hunt until 10 and get home to the kids. I forgot to set my alarm last night. I got up at 630 and said screw it I'll be hunting Sunday. 645 I changed my mind showered and was in the stand at 745. At 9 am a button buck steps out at 20 yards feeding. The whole time the little one is feeding I can make out the ears of another deer 70 yards at in the brush but it won't come out. After 25 min the little one walks off 10 min later I look over where the other deer was in the brush and I can see a big doe staring at me behind some brush . I put the cross hairs behind her shoulder and in the cloud of smoke I can she her trotting off. She went all of 60 yards and piled up. Double lung shot. I'll have this one butchered and surprise my grandma with the meat.- 8220 replies

Cool pic. Maybe a cat?
-
It would be hard but I would pass on him. It's easier to say that I would pass on him knowing what he looks like with both sides on and knowing he has a good chance at making it through the season. Also having 3 doe down also helps with that decision.

You're welcome. Good luck with the move and closing.

Shoot me a pm. I'll get you some pricing and set up with a flagpole.
-
I highly recommend getting a single piece flagpole vs a telescoping or sectional pole. The telescoping poles are nice there's no rope/halyard to worry about but if left up in high winds they will link and be difficult to raise or collapse. Also over time the locking mechanism gives way and need to be replaced. The the price difference between a 25' telescoping pole and a 25' single piece pole is about $50. The single piece pole has a life time warranty on the shaft. You can get a single piece 25' residential pole with a 3" butt diameter and tapers to 2" at the top or 4" butt diameter and tapers to 3" at the top. Personally I would go with the 4" diameter pole. The 30' pole is 30x4". They are very easy to install not much different than doing a fence post and they weigh less than 75# you can stand them up with one hand.

Luckily he's not the one that I was after all bow season but I believe this is the buck that a drew back on the last Saturday of bow but had to let up because of a few twigs in front of his vitals.

Here's one that I just got on camera with a main beam snapped off.
