After 3 weekends of hunting I finally got to see my first deer I had a small 6 pt at 7 yards I ended up giving him the pass for today

Different bucks the buck.on the buttons left. Brow tune is twice as long as the tos left brow tine -
I was in my stand last year during one of the days when the wind was in the mid 20s but gusts were hitting close to 40 an hr before dark a huge gust came threw and toss my bow off the bow hang and down 23feet. Luckily the only thing to break was the atm to my sight and I keep an extra sight and rest in my hunting bin and I had the sight naked so it was a quick easy fix

I prefer a hang on with a large seat and platform. My summit open shot is extremely comfy but it's so nice to go into the woods and already have a stand in place and walk up and sit

My first Deer was my first year of deer hunting 97 with the bow. I woke up late it was already light out for about 45 minutes but my stand was only a few hundred yards out the back door of my grandmothers house so I got dressed and did a show stalk I made it about 150 yards away from the house when I seen a big doe sneaking threw the brush I got to about 12 yards and smoked her clean pass threw with my arrow I went back to the house to.give her time when I walked in my grandmother said back already I said I woke up late and just got a doe I went back.it 45 minutes later and had a short tracking job she ran abiut 30 yards in the direction of the house a nice and easy drag

Yea I got that one in nunda/portageville in 2010. Ive seen two so far this year it off the same stand I missed a nice size one on Saturday it came in very fast I was screaming at it to get it to stop for a shot the one in my avatar was estimated at over 500lb we had to cut it in half to get it out. The front half just the head and front legs weighed 174 lbs

I agree with nfa I use to use carbon express arrows for almost 5 years I loved them if they didn'tostop making the ones that I was shooting I would still be using them

The bear population definitely seems to be on the rise my first 15 years of hunting I never seen a bear now I've seen 9 since 2010 2 in Wyoming county the rest were in cattarAgus county

That looks like a really thick.comfy pad to sit on. Are you still able to flip your seat up with that pad on your stand?

At 7 am this morning I could hear a bear running around breaking branches all around me I.could hear the bear running up and down trees this any on for a few minutes the the woods were silent until 830 when all Hell broke loose again I could hear this thing running toward my stand I grabbed my bow a few seconds later the bear appears and is running I'm.making noise to get it to stop but it's not stopping so I yell so and this thing stood 23 yards a way a tight shot I release it looks like a clean miss but not 100% sure do I had back to the cabin until 11 it took me 30 seconds to find my arrow and I walk around it was a clean miss im.not overly disappointed right now because I did get to enjoy some very cool action. And I seen a smaller bear out of the same stand last Sunday
