    As far as I know they they scratch the ground never heard of the making a hole,but I guess it does make sense if they are going for something in the dirt their beeck would make a small hole..

    Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! went out this morning but never even heard a bird today....I hope the wife well be ok with me hunting on Mothers Day.........LOL

    Shot my sons today with no problems,I banged the butt stock on the ground and tried to make it go off,but the gun worked perfectly,I have to check to see if the serial number is in the batch thats recalled so far no hic ups...

    I have a bar that my dad gave me,I was never impressed with the accuracy of the gun,mine is a bit older and made in Belgium,I love the gun but the best i ever got was 2 in out of it.I have killed deer with it but I got bit by the bolt action as well.I do take the Bar to the range once in awhile but it has not seen the woods in 25 years...

    My son just bought that same gun a month ago,we only had it out 1 time and did not have any problems with it.This really sucks.................

    My younger brother is a cop in rockland county he said there was a very big bear there last night...Not 700 lbs but the biggest one he chased so far...
