They do make a trail camera that sends any pictures/video direct to your computer or cell phone when it is activated. Theres also video cameras that you can watch on your phone. Our shop has them, so even if you are away you can still monitor things.

I still have my 70MXR. works fine, just not that fast anymore compared to my Bowtech. I also had another Darton before that, but can't think of the model number.. They were always great bows, and I always shot fingers with them, before releases.

One more reason you should be able to carry a handgun during bow season.... Being outnumbered and outgunned is not fun, at least you know 1 of them isn't going home either... -
I would go for a self climber over the sticks and stand combo. They're light, don't make much noise anymore, and you can backpack them in or out and change your spot if you need to quickly. I've used the on Long Island and upstate with no problems. Take a look in the classifieds, maybe some one is selling one.

Try checking out a new copy of Gun Traders Bible? go into a book store and take a look at it, they were about 25-30 $ to buy a copy. Once you get a general idea, you need to find someone that wants it... Sounds like a neat gun.

I have 2 Loveless knives and a few other customs. I don't take the Loveless in the woods though...The Micarta handle looks a lot like mine.

Been using them for about 3 years now, they work great. Even if the arrow hits a shoulder blade or you don't get a pass through shot, you can watch the arrow heading through the woods and see them drop.

Not familiar with the area, but maybe you can try asking one of the local ECO's? At least they would know that you aren't some guy whos just looking to trespass.

All I ever see in the woods or on trail cameras are squirrels, Really thin does, trespassers, quads, and Mushroom hunters. The woods out here are like Grand Central Station.... I say head North, like near the border. Some big guys up there. Besides, who wants to deal with all the liberals in 1 anyway?

I was on the way home yesterday from Riverhead area, and saw a ton of turkey on the side of the road. A little further West off a side road watched 2 small bucks in some guys front yard bumping racks for a few minutes. It was a nice site to watch, until the wife asked why I pulled over...

Defiantly anywhere other than Long Island. All of our Bigger deer got fed up with the squirrels taking their acorns,and moved upstate. Nothing here but a few scrawny looking does and a button buck or 2.....

I was in Dicks last season, and this guy was buying 3 or 4 bags of that deer attractant powder stuff. That is also illegal to use. I guess some people don't care how they get a buck? I've called up on guys using corn before, and would again. I don't know how you can feel any pride in getting a deer that you shot illegally.

Get your hearing checked. I've lost more than 1/2 in both ears, but its only in a certain sound range. I can hear a squirrel fart in the woods, but can't hear crap in a restaurant or group setting. I went on for years thinking I was just trying to block out the wife...

Tell him you saw an ECO parked near the property. Maybe he was checking things out? If your neighbor has any brains , he'll remove it before the season starts. Now you know why he's got some nice racks on the wall..
