Personally, I would use his type of laser for a semi-auto, iron sights, and at a limited range, 25-50 yards or so. I would use it during the day where I won't need any other additional lighting. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Relying on a laser for the purposes of avoiding branches at night is not a good reason for me to use one. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Unless the laser is mounted inside the gun barrel, there's no guarantee the bullet won't hit a branch. Even then, the drop of the bullet vs the straight line from the laser will never travel the same path. So there's NEVER a guarantee of branch-free shooting. I don't think I would ever shoot with iron sights at night, laser or no laser. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

I had one, didn't last very long. IMO, unless you're using iron sights, I don't see an advantage using a small laser such as this. I know folks that night hunt generally either use the ND3 or a high intensity LED torch mounted on a scope. Although the ND3 is pricey, the LED torches are very affordable. If you value your data, get a RAID system. If you don't, spend the extra dough on ram and processor. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

I do believe there are several schools in some states that are now allowing teachers to carry. I'm not an expert in this field so don't quote me. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Crosman Airbow, $849 air-powered arrows @ 450 FPS

There's no CO2 canister to tote around. CO2 can't produce 3000 psi needed for this type of implement. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems -
What exactly did you say about the air gun "crap"? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Those big bore Airguns can't come soon enough! X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

It's connected to a tank that's likely capable of 4500 psi. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems -

The DEC will need to drop the legal discharge distance if they really want this to work. 500' prevents a lot of otherwise good hunting where this implement would be most effective. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems -
DEP and Westchester Fishing did a huge cleanup in multiple reservoirs early October, and we already see trash left on the roadside on some of these places already. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

NYC has a whopping 66 assembly districts! Thoughts?

Good luck finding the folks that are in it for the experience, and are willing to travel unlimited miles for such. From the hunters I know living in NYC, we have much to juggle, and we don't need juggling additional burden on finances so that we can hunt a few birds that seemingly doesn't exist within 100 miles. The cost of owning a vehicle in NYC will pay for most hunts out west for most folks. Most of us that are hunters and capable of a voice, are already overwhelmed on the abundant game, such as deer, squirrels, pheasant, rabbits, coyote, fox, gophers, etc. In a city that where there are a million and one ways to spend one's expendable income, hunting is on the bottom of the totem pole for many. I'm not sure if seabass can be used during bow season. Probably not because it's generally black and has dangerous spines, more than 7 capacity I'm sure. Might be illegal in NYS. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems -
Judging by the intimate text messages and the temperature readings in Celsius, I'd say this programming was from China. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Chip, along with Crosman obviously want to have this implement legal in as many states as possible, but I don't see it happening in 2016. Public comment is in reference to big bore Airguns that meet qualifications of .30 cal or more and 650 fps or more. None of these are met with this arrow gun. According to DEC regulations, it's not even legal for small game, which is 600 fps. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
