NY does not reciprocate with ANY state. many out of state residents have mistakenly flown into the Syracuse airport, with hand guns that they possessed legally on their out of state permits. When they try to fly back home, they are in violation of NY state law, because the guns are not on a NY state permit. Their guns are then taken, and shipped back to their home state, to an FFL where the owners can pick them up after paying all of the FFL fees (on both ends) and shipping expenses. This takes about 3 to 6 weeks. But on the bright side, before the TSA and local DA's office sort of wised up, and set this process in place, people were being arrested for Criminal Possession of a weapon. Since they were from out of state they were immediately brought before a judge to be arraigned . So the missed flights, and had to return to NY for later court dates.....etc... More "common sense"

I bought a Bear knife, very similar to the one in the photo, a few years ago but haven't used it yet. Defiantly a top quality, very well made knife.

The owner of property I hunt, in Allegheny Co. was approached by an outfitter a couple of years ago. We were on pins and needles for a while, but the owner had the same response that your guy did. The outfitter still contacts the owner now and then and the answer is still no but it makes us nervous because the offer keeps getting higher. The owner tells us that he wants nothing to do with the guy, but who knows what the future will bring?.

The 32 Win. Special (with 170gr bullets) would be a fine choice for deer out to 150 yards or so. I wouldn't hesitate to use it. Im assuming that the rifle is a Winchester lever action, probably a model 94. Excellent rifle. Good luck.

One more time.... after reading, in the original article and in a couple of later articles, that there is a decent chance that the sign may have been in violation of a town code and that neighbors complained about it, do you think that there might be a chance that the cop, who was in full uniform AND in a marked police car and AND was in broad day light, didn't actually "STEAL" the 75 cent home made sign?....Any possibility at all?? What info do you have that the town supervisor is "looking out for the sign kicking cop"? Is there actually information to back that up or are you just making more BULL S@%T assumptions ? I know that your mind is made up but I just had to ask anyway. Damn cops, with their donuts and flashy light things on top of their cars.. and going through red lights when I just know they're not on a call, I just know it, I can tell......I got a ticket once for going through a red light and its not fair!!!!! Check your scope rings first. You might have low rings. They come low, medium and high. It might be as simple as going to high or medium rings. Good luck. Just noticed that you said you want to raise your cheek to sight so its probably not the rings.....sorry.

Did a little looking (man that was hard given google and everything) The guy admits that neighbors complained about the sign, that he received a letter from the town stating that the sign was in violation of town code and he states that it was "entirely possible that the police had the legal right to take the sign" He added that he was looking into how to pursue the matter. Cover up....Cowards..LOL
