I recently bought a new Ruger American rifle. Its my first synthetic stocked rifle. It shoots awesome and I thought I would try to break it in on opening day. I shot my old, wood stocked Remington 700, 30-06 for the first time in 4 or 5 years, this past Thursday and I completely changed my mind. The 700 gets the start on opening day.

Sounds like you're not wearing anything to block the wind. Layer u., A first layer of Under Armor, or similar wicking material, is the way to go, then a few more layers over that, and end it with a layer of a good wind blocking material. You should notice a difference. And never wear cotton as your first layer of anything.

Don't think I have ever killed a buck that was over 3, maybe 3.5 . When i was a kid I killed a huge doe that had its teeth worn right down even to its gum line. She may have been 5+ but who knows. -

Its getting to be a pain, trying to find certain ammo. I shoot Lightfield slugs, I can't find them anywhere. I have enough to last a while but I like to keep stocked up. -
Brown it up, with some bacon Add diced, par boiled potatoes, green peppers & onion Stir in some beaten eggs. Salt & pepper to taste. Reduce heat to almost nothing, cover the top with shredded cheese and cover until melted.

Saw a beautiful red fox, un smushed, laying on the side of the road, about 5 minutes from my house, this past Saturday. I drove by a few hours later and it was gone.

But the full synthetic change , at Valvoline, was $65 for up to 5 qts. I can do two full synthetic changes for that. I know that you're paying for the convenience of having someone else change your oil, but to me its just not worth paying double.

Found a coupon that must of come in the mail last week…Goodyear tire. Full service oil change, using Valvoline oil and a premium filter….$19.99…Im sure you have to make an appointment and wait but…..OK

Right now I change my own oil in my truck, with full Synthetic oil and a premium filter, for about 30 bucks……. Been doing it for years

No way an oil change was $29.95 in the 80's… Unless you worked for a dealership.

Maybe Im just out of touch, but I think that 50 bucks for a basic oil change is just plain BULL S..T!!!

I have always done my own oil changes. But my wife recently bought a car that just sits too low to get under and do the change. It was due for an oil change so today she took it to Valvoline instant oil change. When she got home I almost flipped when she told me what she paid for a basic (conventional) oil change…$44.99 plus an additional $3.99 for an extra quart. Her car takes 6qts. What?? Have I been out of the quickie lube game that long?? I figured it would be like 20-30 bucks….

It would be an enormous task, to try to find every NY'er who has bought an AR in the past. And then mail out letters to demand proof of registration. And then, be granted millions of search warrants to check the homes of "violators ", all of which would have to be pretty much executed at the same time. But I wouldn't put it past this arrogant, spiteful, corrupt piss ant little King to at least try.

I must have 10 different patterns/makes. I just go by what matches the background and temp the best. Blaze orange seems to work well too.

Cheers to all on this season..Hope I don't offend anyone if I am toasting with a cold Bud light but I don't do mixers. An occasional shot of Wild Turkey, but Im out. Awesome knife and wallpaper in my old school opinion…..

But the energy of the 410 is much lower, than most center fire deer cartridges, due to the 410's much lower velocity. A 410 slug will kill any deer at close range (50 yards or so) but I think you're really pushing your luck beyond that.
