OMG...You poor fools are clinging to straws! Again...just think how many prayers have been said for world peace. Now, do we have peace in the world? Hell, no!! Consider how many have prayed for a cure for cancer...or Alzheimer's disease...or whatever.....Face it: Prayer does not work. It buoys up folks in need, but it does not work! Just think about it: God is busy; she doesn't have time to worry about the minutia of human beings' goings-on. So, don't pester her with your silly prayers.

Praying for me is a waste of time...as is all praying. (Just consider how many are praying for world peace....and then look at the world!)

Tell ya what, ants.....all faiths are easily attacked. They all are evil. Each thinks it is the end-all...the truth, which obviously cannot be the truth. So...."faith" should be attacked. No one should be allowed to do bad and then hide behind some hokey faith. Should religion...or "faith" be given a free pass in discussions about what is going on in the world....NO...NO...a thousand times NO!

Animals, deer included, respond to external stimuli on a priority basis. When a deer encounters multiple smells, he does not respond to them all at once, but rather responds to that of highest priority...scents of low priority are ingnored, almost as if they weren't there. A buck, hot on the trail of a hot doe, will run very close to a man and ignore his scent totally because he is fixed on the scent of the doe. That scent ranks #1 in priority at that moment. This is why doe-in-heat lures really can/do work. (Ever see the picture of a whitatail buck with his nose right on a bottle of Rickard's Buck Lure? I knew the guy who took that picture. He had trouble getting the trip wire for his camera to work...rocked the cameral back and forth several times...even exclaimed, "Damn! Buck did not run away...He was too tuned into the scent in the Buck Lure to respond to other stimuli...That picture says a thousand words!) Need convincing? Remember the old lab experiment where a cat is wired so that observers can tell what he can see/hear. Placed in a room with nothing but a ticking metronome, his brain will register hearing it. Then place a live mouse in the room, too.....and, VOILA...the cat will no longer hear the metronome! The mouse takes priority. Several such experiments, scientific or field experiences, can confirm this animal response to stimuli on a priority basis. So...can cover scents work? Sure...unless you are talking about a deer who has had an experience that has put him in "human avoidance" mode. Use any cover scent you want, and you won't fool him!

A VP candidate should not make a single factual error in a convention speech. To do so, shows utter stupidity on the part of the candidate...or that he assumes his party faithful care little for the truth. Either way, sad showing by Ryan.

They plan to revoke the right to abortion...and to punish rape victims by forcing them to bear children of rape. They seek to revoke rights recently granted to homosexuals. (Just think: God created homosexuals...Governments of man denied them rights...then granted them rights...and, now the Republicans seek to revoke those rights...Go figure!)

Agree with Marti375...one, or maybe two pins could serve you well. I hunted with a single pin sight for years; it never caused me to miss in the field. (Of course plucking the string...poor follow through...buck fever, etc caused me to miss more than I like to admit!) Good Luck, Early
