No, my point was/is that marinades change the taste of meat.....marinated venison does not taste like venison. But, if you like it....fine!
-
Guys who soak their venison in whatever marinade....really don't like venison!
-
All my guns are locked up: They are cabled together inside locked gun cabinets. thus twice-locked. But, could they be stolen?...Hell, yes. Would I then be guilty if the thief committed with a gun he stole from me?....Hell, no! The blame for gun violence rests squarely on the shoulders of the perpetrator, no where else. To suggest otherwise is a serious mistake! (Note: I tried to not use any big words here so the Buckhunter could follow along!)

Back to the original question of this post: How can we get illegal handguns off the street? In a word, we can't! So....Next question: How do we prevent shootings like this? Not sure if there is a way we can prevent them all. Evil exists; we cannot wipe it out. Yet, another question: What should NOT be done? We should not continue to buy into the argument that we need more restrictions on legitimate, law-abiding gun owners. Attacking the good guys won't solve anything! Parting thought: We, the shooting public, have tarnished our own image with the BLACK GUN craze. We have to some extent made ourselves fair game for the anti's.

Then, for your sake, it hope it becomes a reality, and you can find it in a package to suit your needs. Good luck....Report back if you do get one.

Latest reports suggest multiple (12 - 20) deaths. If only one...or none, a school shooting is a tragedy of the highest magnitude. I did not like seeing those children walking away from the building single file with hands on each other's shoulders. That makes for a long, slow-moving target(s). It would seem that getting to safety quickly would be of paramount importance. Holding hands with a single partner and running like hell would seem like a better form of action to me. Sad stuff here....and, unfortunately, it will rub off to some degree on all us law-abiding gun-owning citizens.

Are coyotes harder to kill at night? What range are you talking about shooting at night? Most of my night time predator hunting has been close-in...shotgun or .22 mag range. If, in fact, Winchester gets this round on the market, I'm sure it will sell. Hunters/shooters have become much like skiers: gotta have the latest gear!
-
As Festus would have said, "I have my doubtfuls about this purported round!" I have had great success with my .22 magnum...a buddy really likes his 22 Hornet...several like the .223. Where's the need for this new rimfire. When/if I feel under-gunned with my .22 mag, I'll step up to one of the centerfires that my buddies use.

What size streamers??....Fairly large: all bait fish that you are trying to imitate are quite big now.

And, if you want camo...Here's one from Artic Shield http://www.outdoorsexperience.com/asbeanie.html

Check out Steam Mill State Forest....I hunted there years ago; got a couple nice bucks. I think now there is also NYC reservoir property open to hunting in that area. -
Do a search on Smoky Mountain Knifeworks site and also on Legendary Whitetails site; I have bought ear covering beanies from both.

Jennnifer Lawrence under the tree, wearing nothing but a red ribbon in her hair and a smile!! Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
-
I, too, have a bunch, but if I had to choose just one: My old Western Arms double barrel 16 ga.

Muzzle loaders who wish to carry multiple guns must see some deficiency in their choice of firearm. If you cannot feel confident with your muzzle loader...give it up! Just think....originally, the "muzzle loading season" was for "primitive weapons". We have come a long way, have we not?

Agree: Good job by Ms. Roth. She points out a current problem....Military and Police can have/use weapons that the general populace is denied. For example, here in NY, we cannot have/use pistol magazines that hold more than ten rounds; police can! The balance has already been tipped to our disadvantage. -
So who would retire from deer hunting if this happened to you?

Just look at the eyes before poking them: Eyes closed = He ain't dead! -
Streamers should work. For bait, try wax worms or Berkeley Gulp maggots.
-
If they offer you some venison....PASS!
-
Looks like deer, but brown, not black....Snowshoe Hare!

When the ECO confronts you...blame it on your wife: "Honestly, officer, my wife was trying to guarantee a CLEAN KILL!"
