Interesting, but I'm not sure I'd want it.

If you watch the video you will see she references ALL the sources for ALL of the information and evidence she is supplying. Some of the information on YouTube is very credible and to say it isn't is just indoctrinated ignorance to keep people from hearing opposing views.

Younger Guys Beware

Follow where all that money winds up and see if starvation ends in the countries it was supposed to help. -
I started out hunting diving ducks in Raritan Bay. It rained on us a lot and we always stayed out there if the water wasn't too rough, because that is when the ducks flew a lot. When I started hunting, I just figured all game animals move more during the rain. I've killed many deer in rainy weather and find I can get a lot closer to them. I don't sit in a stand in the rain though. I'm pretty sure Fred was still alive when Bear archery was making compound bows. Fred was an instinctive shooter who learned how to shoot a bow like native Americans did, so the compound didn't feel right to him, but I'm sure he saw the advantages in them..

Better to shoot incoming geese, then let them land and try to shoot them in the backside as they try to fly away. I think a lot of geese were crippled here. I'm afraid this video will not enhance the image of goose hunters among the general populace. Heck, can't even let my grandchildren watch it, unless I turn the sound off and want to explain the poor shooting choices that were made. I doubt you would consider taking the video down from Youtube, but I would like you to.

Younger Guys Beware

There is nothing wrong with any of these crazy ideas the left pushes all the time. There is something very wrong when the left mandates these ideas on everyone at the barrel of a gun. When you destroy freedom of choice for your constituents, you no longer see them as citizens. You see them as subjects. This is what voters need to ask themselves. Are they going to do what they say they will do for me, or are they going to do to me what they haven't said? -
That's a good sized bear.

I also prowled the woods much earlier in life, probably since 1960, but I actually became a licensed hunter in 1970. My first hunt with my license was for duck with a Stevens 12 gauge SxS and lead shot. No need for steel back then. It was a sunny day and I only saw two ducks withing range and missed both of them. The man who took me with him that day is long gone but I will always remember him.

Going through my old hunting stuff, I found my hunter safety card. It was earned in October of 1970. This year will be 51 years I've been hunting. I couldn't help remembering all of the different hunts I've had and all of the good years and bad years. I wish I could go back in time and do it all over again, especially the hunts I fouled up and didn't score on some really nice bucks. It dawned on me I have been hunting longer than I have been doing anything else in my entire life. I'm thinking whenever anyone asks me what I do for a living, instead of my current reply of "Whatever I want", I should be more specific and say, "I'm a hunter". It saddens me to think I will only get to hunt for 34 more seasons, since I plan to live to be 100 before being murdered by a jealous husband.

Younger Guys Beware

Younger people aren't really aware of what is happening. Their future is being mortgaged by the government and they won't be able to afford it. I really don't see how a national economic collapse can be avoided in the future. In 2001, federal debt per U.S. household was $30,684. Now it’s $179,082. If Democrats succeed with their $3.5 trillion binge, federal debt per household by 2031 will be up to $288,047. -
The idea any crime can be labeled a "Hate Crime" needs to be trashed. We cannot prove what was in the mind of any criminal at the time they broke the law. The day we allowed the legal system to prosecute "hate crimes" was a day we all accepted a step towards tyranny. As far as flag desecration goes, you can burn or trash an American flag, but will be prosecuted for burning a rainbow flag. That's a perfect example of the tyranny of "hate crime" legislation. It's all about controlling the masses to comply with the government's agenda.

Few are anti-vax. Most are against forced vax for this virus, especially those who've had the virus already.

They also put up the bail for those arrested, then they had all the charges dismissed.

Hochul to address gun violence
Grouse replied to Nytracker's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
She just let 200 convicted criminals out of Riker's Island. So when they cause crime to go up even higher, she can blame responsible gun owners for the increase. -
I am just going to put this here. You can decide for yourself what to believe. Personally, I believe her.

It's just another part of the Democrat strategy to vilify people who are not likely to vote for them. Right now, an unvaccinated gun owner is on the top of the hit list of people who can expect a lot of pressure from Democrats to comply with their demands, and that pressure will be coming from everyone you know that agrees with them.

I don't believe our taxes were meant to be used for extortion, but it seems to be pretty common now.

Sorry to hear about your fall. I also am hunting only 10 feet up these days an feel that is high enough. My BIL was 2 weeks from retirement when he fell on a ladder only 3 rungs up, but got his leg caught and his knee hit the ground hard and broke. He was on workers comp for two months or so when he should've been retired. That was two years ago. To this day he still has problems with that knee, especially when he hunts in the cold.
