  1. In that pic, its so hard to tell, all I see is a spec of dirt
  2. I put down a weed blocking fabric, always had problems with these weeds with the old shed that would grow under then out of the sides of the old shed (actually through the old sheds floor too!) The shed is pretty high off the ground (its hard to see in the pictures), I put it on blocks also, so no wood has direct contact with the ground, there is a solid 5 inches between the walls of the shed and the ground. I do have a lot of patio blocks (small ones), so I was thinking of putting those up as a small barrier in between the mulch and the shed.
  3. Two weeks minimum, check, then move it if no action.
  4. I'll be doing mine this weekend!
  5. Any idea's for Landscaping around my new shed? Going to do it this weekend... I was going to edge out the grass line around the shed, and then do black mulch to match the other mulch I have around the shrubs. I'd like to get some nice low growing plants, but I know nothing about that crap around there, especially to fill in to the left in he picture where you can see my neighbors shed. Any advise? I'm also going to build a ramp out of treated wood, and use trex for the treads.
  6. Geno, correct any season, but the extra tags (left overs) are not handed out until later on.
  7. I think your taking it the wrong way, Eddie was just offering some advise. Anyways, keep at it, eventually someone will say yes
  8. Thats one heck of a first buck and bow kill, congrats.
  9. Yup, its used next year. I have two points now, so I better get a tag next year
  10. Geno, http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/30409.html This shows the prob as high, but I guess that still can mean you can be denied based on the # of permits avail and the expected # of people to apply for DMP's. Now that you have a preference point you have a higher chance of being selected next year. Even at high it states: more than 2/3 of applicants receive a DMP.
  11. Thats for sure, it will end hunting in a lot of area's. This needs to be squashed.
  12. That 3A news came out a while back, not sure about the other stuff though. BTW where did this announcement come from?
  13. http://assembly.state.ny.us/leg/?default_fld=&bn=A07878&term=&Summary=Y&Actions=Y Increases the distance from a dwelling house, farm building, school building, school playground, occupied factory or church in which a firearm or long bow may be discharged from 500 feet to 1000 feet.
  14. If you could crap while you hunt, that would be amazing.
  15. I don't have a place for these types of advertisements, so I moved it to the classifieds section for now.

    DMP

I'm in WMU 3H, now have two preference points for next year. The old man did get a land owners one, so at least we have that between my brother and I.
