Decided to get this one done just got him back. Very happy with him.

Just read a article in field and stream about cwd. Wyoming cwd is reducing the herd by 10% a yr just in deaths from the disease. They predict they will in the future have areas that have no whitetails left because of it.

Plus deer feed might have cwd in it from animal parts used in the bait. Just like the feed that started the whole mad cow disease debacle a few yrs ago. Plus there are other deer disease s that are just as bad.

Rye and clover are even better. Brassicas die or get eaten unless you have a ton of it. Winter rye is the best plot ever. Cheap and grows fast. Rake, fertilize, throw down winter rye and drag a rake back over it. I swear it even grows with snow on top of it.

Rules are in place for a reason dude! Has nothing to do With being self righteous . Rules are there to ensure the deer arent slaughtered off. If everyone is allowed to break the law then there is no reason to have them. Being an adult means you do whats right without being told to do it. Children do what they want and they gey punished . So either act like a adult or punished like a child your choice.

Its a moot point to argue about it. Not ever going to be legal in NY. And from what ive read they are looking for ways to crack down even more on it. It wouldnt suprise me if you saw stiffer penalties in the future. Which i dont think will stop it law breakers are law breakers.

The 300 acres that ive had sole hunting rights to for free for 10 yrs is up for sale. Im bummed but i think he is asking to much and wont budge on the price so might not sell which is alright with me lol -
So far ive seen over 38 doe a bear and 8 bucks hunting pa. One nice 8 was to covered in briars to shoot all others much smaller could have shot. They have deer running everywhere down there its kind of cool. Reminds me of the old days in ny when you could actually fill a few tags and not worry about it ruining the nxt few yrs hunting. Really opened my eyes NY hunting has really gone down the drain.

Never seen anything like it. Every blade of grass im walking by has 2 to 3 ticks perched on it waiting for a ride.

Love drivers and people on 4 wheelers. Killed alot of deer from both. Dont even have to be with them lol. I use to wait for the neighbors to drive to there stands and the shoot the deer they chase off there property. It was fun.

according to this months ny hunting mag they are going to start coming down hard on baiters. They dont want cwd back

No problem bro. Dont know why those stores sell that crap either. They put tiny signs up that its not legal in ny that most people dont see. Dicks doesnt even put signs up. They just let you pay to hang yourself.

May i also say lord have mercy on the master baiter who spreads a case of cwd in ny. Im sure the book will be dropped on you then picked up and thrown at you. Also for folks hunting PA tomorrow. PA deer cannot be brought into NY. Have to be processed in PA and meat at cleaned skull plate can be brought over.

Also not legal to hunt there at all now. Once bait is put down it makes it illegal to hunt that area. And if your neighbors know you baited they could be fined to for hunting in a baited area. Liquid is hard to get off a stump. If you remove the stump and dirt around it then you could probably just it. Better not have a kernel of corn anywhere for the warden to find either.

After Saturday thru Saturday of getting up at 4:30 and sitting till dark. Im taking a day off and rest for PA opener in tje morning then back at the all day sits if thats what it takes

7s is bad this yr. Looked down today and had a dozen or so crawling up my pants. Just pulled one off my dog. Sure she got it out of my car.
