Picked up 6 walleye, 5 smallmouth and lost a musky in the 30s when he jumped completely out of the water and shook the jig. And a small pike.

Looked like a yearling should have given him a few more yrs to get a little fatter. But maybe a 3.5 yr old mouse is a little gameier.

I honestly can't tell the difference between the taste of a button buck and a 3 yr old. I think it's all in the handling. My 3 ur old's are just as tender as any button or doe. In fact ive had a few doe that were way gameier and tougher than any 3 yr old bucks ive shot.

Give them a bit. They will be here soon enough. Last yr they didn't show up till Sept at my house. Then they were unbearable.

Do the same with toads to. Dump them in the woods nxt to my house to eat bugs. Been doing it for yrs. Down side is it takes a long time to mow my yrd removing them back to the woods lol.

My daughter and i use to walk the roads and fill a bucket after it rained so they wouldn't get squished. Dumped them in swampy areas in the woods.

Was on the old Empire hunting site. There was a hunter on there that shot huge bucks every yr. The owner of the site I think got a. Little carried away promoting him and got used in my eyes by this guy. Well come to find out this douche had actually poached them or killed them behind a fence and got caught. Well the owner got Dragged through the mud for it and the site went down over night. So long story short thats why some of us on here dont particularly care for some of the every one breaks the law jokers on here. I like to jig Sonars and castmasters and small spoons for walleye on oneida. Usually clean up pretty fast around the shoal drop offs in the spring.

Yes but no CWD has been found so far. If it is im sure they will increase the sampling in that area. They are monitoring for cwd not containing thank God cause we all know what that means.wiping that deer herd off the map. which i for one am not going to be responsible for by baiting or sneaking pa deer across the boarder.The best thing we could do is not make there job harder by not following the rules they have put down.

Stupid posts like this really make me dislike other hunters alot. We have enough problems with deer hunting in N.Y. already dont need hunters making more problems. I think we can agree that CWD EHD and other diseases are a threat to deer herds all over the United States. And we can all agree we dont want it in our herds. If not transporting deer across state lines and not feeding deer and placing restrictions on deer farmers can help stop that then im for it. And so far it seems to be working with no CWD positive deer found in a while. So until one is found and its proven the current system doesn't work then let it be. It could be alot worse.
