  1. I showed this video to a relative who works for the PO. She told me that the video was sent to all PO's, nation wide, asking if the fat slob could be ID'd.

The PO is crazy strict about diving violations, like driving on lawns and especially backing up.

I saw that as well, how can they say she can't be found yet? they have a home address where this occurred, only one post office servicing that area, can't imagine they need a nationwide search if this is legit..........I would assume the homeowner filed a complaint..............and I also saw that video clip is an add for the security camera company, so who know's.

  2. NY does not reciprocate with ANY state. many out of state residents have mistakenly flown into the Syracuse airport, with hand guns that they possessed legally on their out of state permits. When they try to fly back home, they are in violation of NY state law, because the guns are not on a NY state permit. Their guns are then  taken, and shipped back to their home state, to an FFL where the owners can pick them up after paying all of the FFL fees (on both ends) and shipping expenses. This takes  about  3 to 6 weeks.

But on the bright side, before the TSA and local DA's office sort of wised up, and set  this process  in place, people were being arrested for Criminal Possession of a weapon. Since they were from out of state they were immediately brought before a judge to be arraigned . So the missed flights, and had to return to NY for later court dates.....etc...

    More "common sense"

and if I'm not mistaken, although they may not be arrested, the issuing agency will be notified of the violation and it will be up to them to take action or not........and on another note, those who apply for and are issued a pistol license, should be aware that with doing so are ultimately signing away their right to own any firearm should they ever have their pistol license revoked.

  3. I lived in Bayshore LI many years ago and just couldn't put my finger on why the town of Brightwaters directly south of us looked so classy and neat until one day I hung a sign on a telephone pole on a road in Brightwaters advertising a new business venture I was eagerly undertaking. Well I promptly received a call from the Brightwaters police dept that evening with a warning to never hang a sign in their town again.

Im sorry but in many of our upstate towns we have yard sale signs, roofing company signs, car detailing, get with Jesus, save this and save that, gaming, fracking and worst of all Political vote for me signs for elections which seem to come up every other month anymore. Its to a point where it just looks low down and trashy when you pull up to any intersection and everyone and anyone has something stapled to a pole, which by the way will never be remove till Mother nature blows the thing off and it ends up on laying on the street.

I understand that everyone wants to exercise their constitutional right to put up signs but other people want to preserve the right to have their neighborhood not look like some kinda low class Times Square either.

    well said.......

  4. If you really were to do this, you would violate a number of NY laws.  Unsecured weapon, illegal magazine, civil disobedience, inciting a riot, and any other law they could dream up against you, etc.  I'm sure a cop would have shown up in a short time with his gun drawn and arrested you, if he didn't just decide to shoot first and ask questions later.

We live in a free country.  You're free to do whatever they let you do.

I think it's time for you to head down to your underground bunker..................

  5. Doc, all it takes is one cop like this to pull you over and ruin your life when he decides you've violated a gun law. But I'm sure you'll excuse away whatever he does to you.

do you even know what this cop is "like"?..........maybe this guy was told ten times to take the signs down, maybe he is the biggest douche in the neighborhood and his neighbors complain about him all the time........there's ahole's like that in every neighborhood.

  6. ok after further examination i have come to the conclusion the the creature you seek to identify is a rare flying terradactal skeeteropatimus, although poisinous they are rarely seen by people and they only eat the infamous yetti, So i have determined that if you set a trap for the yetti you will be able to with out question be able to capture it, I heard they taste like chicken, but not regular chicken but like the kind you buy at walmart, just sayin, hope it helps.

I hope you're not suggesting he uses a yetti as bait...................baiting is a touchy subject around here.

  7. illegally placed sign or not, this is a WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED TAX DOLLAR AND YOURS!!!!, why is a well compensated police officer removing signs? ,

I am sure the  local code enforcer could handle this task, considering the proximity to NYC and the population density of this town I am certain there were better utilization of this gentleman's time and skill set, I see nothing here but politics

Do you have any idea the amount of time a Police Officer has to wastes during his shift to respond to nonsense complaints called in by the good citizens of whatever area he may serve? In reality, it's the tax payers themselves who cause the Police to have to waste their time on trivial nonsense.

  8. Really??? No one can man up and admit that at least " MAYBE "   there is a little more to the story??    K.... I know people over use "LMAO"  but I really am laughing my ass off...   What ever blows your skirts up....   "men".

it kinda died off when they read the story from a legitimate news agency instead of some rag newspaper................
