  1. what if a scumbag burglar breaks into a cabin, through a window. Assuming that the cabin's interior is a little on the dark side, the scum finds himself tangled up in a bunch of loose barbed wire that was stored in the cabin, at ankle level, for later use around the property. As he tries to free himself he gets more and more tangled up. In a panic, he stumbles  for the door and trips over a strand of 100lb test fishing line that was tied between two studs and was being used to mark a spot for an up and coming remodel. The trip  causes the scumbag to fall, face first into an open box of antique broken glass & rusted nails. As he rips the front door open, to get out, a bucket filled with a solution of vinegar  and salt ( which was left to repel moths) falls from the top of the door jamb and douses his freshly cut face. As he runs from the cabin, screaming in pain & wrapped in barbed wire that is tearing into his flesh he runs onto a dirt road where he is struck by a logging truck which knocks him off into the woods where a bear humps his almost dead body and then eats him.

Thats not the cabin owners fault is it?????

the bear would be labeled a nuisance bear that is a danger to humans and DEC would track it down and kill it...........

  2. while I agree with everything you said, here is the problem I am running into....

it does NOT have anythign to do with restricting guns.  That seems to be the common answer I have hear people argue.

Having it a matter of public record that someone owns a gun doesn't make it harder to own a gun!

And, since the murders and mass shooting are done usually by criminals and unregistred guns, that argument wouldn't even hold up.  The idiot politians can say, "well, we made everyone public who owns a handgun legally, but this was done by a criminal and an unregistred weapon, so we have no idea."  That would just make the case for OUR side of the argument against it this stupid Act.

    I don't get it.

ownership of handguns was public info before the safe act was enacted.....

  3. There HAS to be something behind it or it wouldn't have gotten passed.  There must be something somewhere that has an ounce of some rational thought.  I just don't understand.

Just publishing gun owners would be even a waste of liberal's time.  it doesn't serve them any purpose.

most of the Safe Act won't serve any purpose.......bad people will still do bad things, no matter how much they try to regulate.

  4. I noticed apples today, where I didn't even realize I had apple trees! Don't know if this is the first year that they've produced or what? As I was driving in the lane at camp, I noticed apples laying in my lane in 2 different spots! I thought WTH? Someone must be messing with me! Got out and looked, and sure enough, loaded apple trees! Had the place for 14 years now and don't ever recall having this happen before.

now that you've found them, trim them up for next year.........they'll produce more reliably if you get rid of a lot of useless branches that suck up what can be going to produce apples on a more regular basis.

  5. I can offer a few suggestions on how not to gain permission, not from experience but for obvious reasons........don't ask the day before the season opens, don't bother a farmer or landowner when they are obviously busy, don't knock on someone's door around dinner time, don't show up in hunting clothes or looking like a slob or with a car load of hunting buddies, don't ask after you've been sitting in front of their property glassing deer for 20 minutes before asking....whether letters, emails or face to face are better options, are all decided by the person you are asking.

  6. I plan on breasting them out most likely. I just don't know if I want to try and eat something that I have to drown in flavor. I will keep in mind not to eat the meat closest to the bone.

I'd rather drown something in flavor than waste it.....

  7. I can't believe people are that hard up for intel that they would pull a card, download/delete the pics for their own use, then put the thing BACK?  (Like that makes up for messing with a guys/gals camera)

As my kids would say, "really?"  Crazy stuff.............................................

    mine would say..OMG, WTF?

  8. Troll (Internet)
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about internet slang. For other uses, see Troll (disambiguation).
    20px-Padlock-silver.svg.png

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtrl//ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

While this sense of the word troll and its associated verb trolling are associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels subjective, with trolling also used to describe intentionally provocative actions and harassment outside of an online context. For example, mass media has used troll to describe "a person who defaces Internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."[7][8
