  1. Ever been to a gun show?

exactly........guns laid out pointing in all types of unsafe directions with ammo right next to them, guys walking around carrying guns...............I was in a gunshop just the other day, and the handguns were in the display case with the muzzles pointed towards the customers!, I got out of there real quick before they started going off.

  2. All good info you guys put out there. I think one more conversation needs to take place before the law gets involved.

"Where I lived in the past,If a persons pet animal made whineing or barking for more then 15 minutes continous you could call the police,1st. time they would get a worning. 2nd. time they would get a fine. After that the animal would be taken from them and put in a pound and the owner woul have to pay for there upkeep."

Same in my town. That will be my course after the next conversation.

Hopefully it won't have to come to that......nothing worse than being on bad terms with a neighbor......a few years back we had a dog that was a barker, we bought a small hand held device that when the dog barked, you would press the button and it sent out a high pitched sound, that couldn't be heard by humans, that made the dog stop barking and it worked......it definitely had the range to affect a dog next door.

  3. If you can get a smaller carabiner, you can lower the bow via the dloop. by doing that, if you aren't setting it up so the bow stops off the ground, you can control the way the bow lays down by using the dloop and the stabilizer. Some people like to lay the bow down on the arrow/quiver side to prevent the bow from sitting on muck. Others like to avoid laying it down on the arrows...but, by doing that, you have a choice.

If possible, I like tieing off so neither touches the ground. Not always possible with mobile set-ups.

I tie around the handle, this allows me to set it down like you described, probably a bad idea to have it touch down on the cam.......also, metal to metal always has the potential to create noise.

  4. So you're saying the info on there now is not correct and not updated?

It's partly correct, according to them there is conflicting info and it will be updated, when I spoke to someone yesterday I explained how one part said bonus tags will be only for antlerless deer, and then it went on to say those who use bonus tags for antlered deer will not be issued another bonus tag. They did not say whether or not they will totally eliminate the process of allowing deer to be checked in and have tags issued in person or if they are going to the email process only.......the info about youths being allowed to use crossbows is totally incorrect.

  5. ok, spoke to someone at Region HQ today regarding Bonus DMP's...............the website is currently being updated with the correct info and should be available soon........according to them, the bonus tag's will only be for antlerless deer, they are also starting a program that will enable successful hunter's to email photos of the filled tags to them, eliminating the need to bring the deer head and filled tag to a check station, in the message they left they didn't specify if tags will be able to be printed out, mailed or how you will get another.
