Have those kids ever hooked up with anyone? I can't imagine being a raging adolescent with no girls around

by watching some of these folks, especially the Bush people, you would think they never handled a gun before the filming of the show.
-
The smaller the house/home the closer the family will be LOL!
you ever watch when they kill and butcher a deer? like total savages the way they slice it up and cook it..........nothing appealing about that whole family whatsoever.
-
live like the "Alaskan Bush People"? never in a million years.....I can't imagine how living in a tiny shack, by choice, with your grown children could be healthy for anyone.....

I look at it this way, unless you're afraid of the jihad invasion and stock market end of days that is always supposed to happen but doesn't then society isn't so bad. There are many issues we can all agree or disagree on that are troublesome. I'm a pretty experienced diy and I love the woods and I'm more interested in sitting alone in a treestand than going to a club. All that said, we can't enjoy a lot of what we do without societies help. Just sitting here typing these words there are thousands of people working jobs making it all work. I love movies, I love good beer and wine, I like internet porn lol. I enjoy toothpaste and clean clothes. I'm sure with enough work I could make my own whiskey, but how many books can I bring? How good is my imagination? idk... I guess I'm happy with life, so I don't understand the desire to leave it all behind.
you wouldn't want to live in a one room shack with all your adult children??

Hunting on new private land past few years I've only had success with spring gobblers on one particular spot (out of dozens of acres and what look to be prime habitat). I've taken three nice birds in the past three years, but only while setting-up my ground blind in the same spot.
For the more experienced turkey hunters, if this is a "resident" flock, do you feel that they have any memory of previous birds being taken in a particular spot in the past? There are obviously factors (food, fresh water stream) that keep drawing the birds to this spot. Would you believe that they are just driven by food and mating to this spot and that spring "madness" to mate may override any common sense?
Thanks in advance
Zoltan
I don't think they have common sense.....no different then killing deer from the same tree every year. I honestly don't believe animals can figure out what gunfire is, unless you add some other factor in to messing the area up it's forgotten......what do you think they do during lightening and thunder storms? pretty sure they haven't figured that one out either.

when did they rescue Gilligan???

pretty sure the Kilchers on "Alaska The Last Frontier" are far from paupers......The one daughter of Atz Kilcher is the singer Jewel.

I'm amazed by the fact that a family full of mentally challenged people can actually pull that off......personally I can't even watch Alaskan Bush People.

Isn't that "toxic, as in poisonous'? I wouldn't want to harm the dog or make it sick. I just want them to (vividly) remember what happened the last time they chased me. I don't usually have a problem handling one dog, but my wife gets scared when she comes upon an aggressive dog. If I educate the dogs along a particular route, they're not likely to get aggressive when she is with me.
yeah, I would think wasp spray is very bad to spray into anythings eyes......

Isn't there. a difference between a stun gun and a tazer?
taser shoots the electrodes out of it...something like 15'......stun gun has to be held against the person with your hand.

I am scouting a new area of state land. So far not very impressive for gun hunting. But, there is potential for bass fishing.
I also spent a little time getting re-acquainted with some other state land I used to hunt.
you must get awful wet and cold scouting for Bass in this weather...

Anybody ever the opportunity to try FRESH sardines ?
From what I have read they are excellent fried or grilled.. I would love to try them.
I sure do like fried smelt. I also canned up a bunch of smelt one time in spaghetti sauce, and they were very good.
I have, grilled...a little too "hang in your throat" boney for my liking, but pretty tasty otherwise. Fried Smelt where much better.
-
I love sardines. Any brand, although I bough a cheap brand a few times,( can't remember the brand but the can had a blue label) They were way too big and boney. They looked like something they throw to the seals at marine world.
I like those canned Kipper snacks too.
reminds me of Bumble Bee Brand.
-
I bought some Bumble Bee brand a while back.......yuck.

Love is a strong word, but I like King Oscar..........little Franks Hot Sauce on a Saltine is delicious.

I wasn't aware of that. I only know of the main page and by state. I only work off the main page.

but they do have a community forum for political stuff, so it is there, just doesn't muddy up the hunting stuff.

What about the guy that is target practicing with his bow out behind his garage?
