  1. This is great and all but I have some problems with the hoopla over it....Your dealing with a personality that is akin to tantrum throwing 3 yr old...Really have you looked at his face and demeanor during some of his rants?

Calling him out in articles such as that will bruise that giant ego of his....He will gather his ppl and tell them to step it up on the gun grabbing strategies he has in play. Do you think that when dealing with such a personality, that holds a powerful position...legalities will get in his way?

    exactly what I was thinking....

  2. OK jjb...but they are shooting Chihuahuas, wiener dogs..ppl SERVICE dogs......dogs they have already restrained.... One video they ended up shooting a dog 33 times and they hit cars and homes all over the neighbor hood...They had a dog jump into the bed of another mans pickup and start a fight with his dog...IN FRONT OF a SCHOOL... police never call warden never secured the area to protect bystanders .. just shot into the pick up 5x's and then another cop ran over with a shot gun and shot some more. How'd you like to have your kids at that school or own the truck? Oh one elderly woman shot because the cop missed the dog he was trying to shoot..really? didn't mean to kill her..I ask how many officers in the US have been killed on duty by a dog?

People secure their pets IN THEIR yard and cops search for a lost boy... enters the property and shoots the dog while the people are at work...ooppss boy was found at home sleeping...

I was merely saying what it made me think of.....

  3. the video showing the faces of the dogs in the loving arms of their owners reminds me of the Graduation or Communion pictures they always put in the paper after someone with a lengthy criminal record is killed by The Police..........

  4. driving around these past few weekends, I've come to the conclusion that Bud Light drinkers pollute at a much higher ration than drinkers of other brands.....about 10:1

  5. Ticks and mosquitoes. That's all I'm worried about.

Ticks are #1 on my list.....quite honestly bear never cross my mind as a danger while I'm out hunting.........can't say the same about those little crawlers.

  6. Actually made me lol.. I am sure a tazer probably doesn't leave much of a lasting injury or mark... If you are comfortable living in a society that is slowly eroding our basic rights. That is fine.. I'm not..

We shouldn't have to make excuses.. if she was just more polite or if you don't have anything to hide, it's easy just go along with the flow..

Unfortunately I think those that think like me are rapidly disappearing. Society would rather be told what to do then take any self responsibility.

I actually did not watch the whole video....most things like this are edited or only contain footage that the poster wants you to see, so I choose not to get caught up in such stuff..........but either way, if someone resists arrest, there are several ways to take someone into custody...some more pleasant than others.

  7. She is a young girl, if he isn't good enough to restrain her without the use of a tazer he doesn't deserve his job... I thought when we became adults we had certain freedoms... Imho, Too many people say just shut up an do what you are told... We are "free" Americans , not sheep... Although we are rapidly becoming used to becoming subservient.

tazers actually prevent further injury in most cases......the other option for someone who is resisting arrest might be a flashlight applied to the head a few times.......take ur pick.

  8. Deerpassion what the hell are you talking about?  I didn't kill a turkey last year... Try typing complete sentences to make more sense...

I've read your post over a few times and can't figure out how he got any of what he posted out of it..........bizarre.

  10. don't be silly. The solution is not to take the attitude of "who care what jimmy and joey do". Peer pressure is a hell of a drug. Not condoning sloppy riding, hunting, gun safety etc. helps to make those mindsets unpopular.

Statistics have shown kids are smoking less. Not because it's illegal, but because it's no longer as cool as it use to be.

    That's my point.

I don't condone any of that and none of the people I associate with are slobs, but do you honestly think the guy who races down the street with his kid on an ATV with him, not wearing helmets really gives a crap what others think? or the guy who drives all over State Land cares what others think? should I go knock on their door and have a serious talk with them and explain that what they're doing is wrong and they better clean up their act?

  11. Insurances rising has to do with the (stupid) actions of people not the invention of stuff. Like most things.. it only takes a few idiots to ruin a good thing... the ATV is no exception. I'm not a big fan of ATVs for getting in an out of your hunting spot.. but they are great for getting out a deer!

I don't think anyone is arguing that it's the idiots that cause the rise in rates...............but, the two kind of go hand in hand.

  12. And yet my point is, my insurance goes up every time one of them does. So the actions of others do affect you. Every kid who shoots up a school affects you.

no kidding........so what's the solution, ban everything that may make my insurance premiums go up?

  13. about 30,000 Law Enforcement Officers will show up to this funeral, shed some tears and go about the job they were sworn to do the next day.....there will be no rioting, civil unrest or destruction of property...no Civil rights Leader will speak out and condemn what caused the death of this fine young man..there will be no talk shows scrambling to get the first story from his family or partner that was with him on this tragic day, it will fade into his name being just another etching on the Law Enforcement Memorial in Albany.....It's all a hard pill to swallow, but it is what this place has evolved into...sad to say the least.

  14. Boys.....play nice, don't let the damned turkey's get too you. 'Taint worth it.[/quot

Really I should apologize , just finished my last final exam and practical exam today on top of chasing those dam turkeys for 5 days straight! 5 three am's will get to ya in a hurry ! But I'm celebrating no more "school" work now listening for a bird with my lil boy , n I can't say it would be appropriate if I wasn't staying down the street , (beers , beers, n more beers) frankly I'll be dam lucky if I wake up tmorrow ! Not the greatest advertisement for newly Dr, Joseph Allen Hitchcock... Doctor of physical therapy , but 518d6ed7912d2a485d7367150fe90a77.jpgthree years of that crap while squeezing in hunting season will make ya crazy .... All I can say is , Ahhhhhhhhhhh, thank The Lord !

be careful, some may take the "beers, beers and more beers " the wrong way.....especially when you post a "selfie" of yourself in a vehicle while making that statement.....

  15. Specifically I was talking to the Sterling Forest guy, asking him about parking spots.  He said we have all kinds of parking areas scattered about, but if you want to park somewhere else we don't have a problem with it.  Just make sure you're five feet off the white line because the Tuxedo police consider that Tuxedo property not Sterling Forest and there is a no parking ordinance along any of these roads and they like to give tickets.

So that's a specific situation there, not sure if common practice across the state.  Personally I always try to be as far away from the road as possible.

I've heard about The Tuxedo Polce Dept., so that may very well be true.
