  1. I don't think you can expect the same fit from rubber boots as you can from lace up boots......I've always been happy with LaCrosse, but rubber boots don't fit the same as the lace ups, so I never buy without trying on for size.

  2. My neighbors are black. Up until about a week ago, they had no children. Then, I started seeing these two blonde girls, roughly 15 years old, coming out of their home. They were always with my neighbors, who wouldn't let the girls out of their sight. They were wholesome looking girls. I just figured they were housing them for some program. Then I bumped into my neighbor, while I was on neighborhood watch. After I put my gun away, and let him up off the ground, I asked him about the girls. Turns out, Obama gave them to him for his vote. I found out that Obama has been promising white teenage girls to blacks that vote for him. Where is the media on this story?

    And it's 100% true!

why is it, that that throughout this entire thread, that you are the only one to associate the color of ones skin with the discussion at hand?

  3. Maybe he was living "within his means" and had his income cut by over 70% like mine was. If it wasn't for my wife's teaching income, which conserv-a-turds think is excessive, we would lose our home.

If conservatives are so concerned with preventing child births by those that can't afford to feed them, why are they doing everthing they can to make access to birth control harder for poor people?

does anyone really need access to birth control to stop having children they can't afford? I would think that's preventable regardless of income....Christ, I've been married for 25 years, have had sex for the entire time, never used birth control.....other than common sense, and only have two children!

  4. regardless of whether or not they were apologetic, didn't realize the property was newly leased out...etc,etc.... the fact that they were out with guns and decoys a full week before the season and tried to remove the card from the camera, says all you need to know about your new neighbors.

  5. Be cognizant of the bears main food source. If it is feeding on garbage guess what the meat will taste like. If its feeding on berries and other prime food sources you are in for some good eating. Steve Rinella put up a video of him frying his bear meat in bear fat. I heard bear fat is some of the best fat as long as it has a healthy diet as I stated above.

Rinella also shared his experience with Trichinosis after eating improperly cooked bear meat.....you also gotta make sure that it's cooked thoroughly.

  6. I'm certainly not going to start shooting every small deer that I can tag just because we MIGHT have a bad winter. I'm sure what we now get to see on film has been happening every time we get clobbered with snowfall. I'm not suggesting anyone do anything illegal, but I know what I would do if I had that happening in areas that I had access to, and especially if I was taking the time to film it..........

  7. Yep..pretty sure he meant Red Cat junkie when he put up his internet name....

I must have read his post 12 times and still can't come up with a response..........

  8. And don't forget the free heat she is getting from H.E.A.P to keep her warm while she's getting laid to have more kids so she can get a bigger monthly public assistance check, and the free cell phone she is using that is paid for by taxpayers too.

the cell phones are the best.........I was speaking to an individual and asked her who her Cell Carrier was......she said "I don't know, it's one of those Obama phones".......and that's 100% true.

  9. Legally bought and owned by the shooters? Well the columbine kids got them through illegal purchases and straw purchases, so not in that case. Lanza killed his mom and used her guns, so no to that one as well....Im sure if you take the time to seache a bit you can get those answers pretty fast.

I was thinking more along the lines of guns being bought from the trunk of a car in a back alley with the intent of using it for a crime............the guns Lanza got were legally bought and purchased and for all we know mom let him play with them as he pleased, not illegal....and this is what I found about Columbine and the weapons, although I'm sure there's more than one story out there.

  10. I definitely don't agree that a pump or semi shotgun with buckshot would be as effective.  You can fire off way more with an AR or semi-auto pistol and be able to carry and reload a whole lot more ammo also.

You guys keep pounding on the point that first it would be AR's, next would be the Rem 7400, but I have always said that without some sort of compromise they WILL take everything away from us.  Without compromise their is nothing in a friendship, marriage, you name it.  Some of you think we've compromised too much already, but that's because many of you can't accept ANY gun control whatsoever.  At least some uniformity in the freaking gun laws that we have in this country would be a start.  What freaking good is NY's SAFE act when someone can easily purchase anything they want down south?  Makes NO sense at all.

  11. So that would be the end of it? no more laws after that? ....................Didn't think so.

about 15 years ago my daughter was 5. I sent her to a closet to retrieve a new deck of cards so we could play a game. (we didn't have a full deck from her previous activities..lol). it had to be 10 minutes and she had not returned. I walked up into the bedroom she was standing there just staring into the closet. A buddy had given me an old broken percussion side by side shotgun that was broken in half just in front of the hammers. I was going to restore it for a visual art piece for above the fireplace. Not a functioning one. I asked here what was taking so long and she said " the gun is on top of the cards and I cant touch them". Wonder why that was? The ones with kids touching and using guns unauthorized are doing a crap job parenting in my opinion. Maybe we should be limiting them from having kids.

unfortunately not everyone is responsible in that way..........the kid on the bus who decides he's gonna bring Daddy's gun to school because he has full access and was never taught any different is the ones we gotta worry about......should there not be consequences for the adult who allows his child or mentally deficient family member access to his guns and something goes wrong?......or do we just shrug our shoulders and move on? you would think that common sense is all that's needed when it comes to safe storage of guns, but that seems to be in short supply today..............and there's no doubt that kids get into all types of trouble with all types of things they shouldn't have access to, but they never make national headlines.

  12. I just don't get the "free for all" attitude that some have when it comes to gun ownership..........I can't imagine anyone having a problem with safe storage laws. I've seen the comments in the past about "I need my gun close by and readily available to protect myself so nobody is gonna tell me what to do"....................what happens, god forbid, if that knock comes on your front door to tell you a loved one was killed while playing with a gun they found in their friends parents nightstand.......do you accept it because it's their right to keep their guns as they choose?

  13.  It appears that people can afford more "stuff" these days but way less time to enjoy that "stuff". To me that is a reversal in the quality of life.

I think that many people have stuff that they can't afford, and that's the problem........nobody gets denied a loan or credit card theses days, they just hit them with astronomical interest rates and the people don't care, they just keep buying.

  14. Hes trolling, trying to paint people as racist. Most likely because, exactly like you say, hes the one with the hang ups.

I work around an airport that has a lot of unique planes flying in and out, so it draws plane enthusiasts who like to hang around the perimeter fencing and take photographs of them coming and going.........very rarely if ever, will your regular "American looking" person draw any attention, but I can tell you that anyone that fits into a "Middle Eastern looking" category, doing the same thing, will generate a call to 911 and Airport Security almost every time......and that's just the way it is nowadays, so I can kinda see what he's getting at.

  15. I have zero problems with work affecting my hunting time, 6 weeks vacation and 5 personal days a year pretty much allow me to be off as I please. I also get a 3 day weekend every other week and although I work weekends the majority of the year, I would much rather be off mid week when everyone else is at work.......overtime is there if I want, but not mandatory........I just find myself wanting to take vacations to do things other than hunting these days
