  1. Not touchy at all. Just trying to make sure i read it right!
  2. Ive been doing sidework and its beginning to dry up. Pretty much looked around my place an said this is probably the easiest money maker i have at this point. Will i regret it here in a few hours when he picks it up...maybe. But i cant worry about that.
  3. Got a chance to hunt my buddies property in 8p this weekend! Should be fun! Hows the deer movement down there been? He hasnt been there in two weeks so hes unsure as well. Im more looking forward to a stop at the robins nest!
  4. I would say no. Its a tough no call but...as stated above i would let him know how you feel and that its not right. Good luck on whatever decision you make.
  5. Blaze orange camo jacket over my realtree coveralls. Usually an orange hat too.
  6. Probably right! Im gonna shoot it tomorow night. I know its setup like my parker with a biscuit and single pin sight. Someone said its a pretty fast bow but a little on the loud side.
  7. Crappy attempt! Cmon i know you can do better!
  8. I took care of the missing curse. Took myself outta the woods to regroup. Anybody know anything about hca four runners? Ive never shot it but it has brand new string and cables. Should be fun
  9. Had to sell my parker to help pay some bills. Ill now use a high country my dad has for the rest of the season. Gonna be shooting it alot this week preparing for a trip to camp in the southern tier this year!
  10. I also received one for turkeys. Filled it out and sent it back. Two months later i get another one. Apparently my info the first time wasnt good enough lol
  11. Am i reading this right? Since i dont care about racks or ARs...means i dont put time or effort into my hunting?
  12. My son loves to track deer that have been hit. Done it many times before. He loves to go sit with us deer or turkey hunting. Guess maybe he is the exception.
  13. Because under that idea...anyone who hunts with a 40# or 45# bow shouldnt hunt. Even recurve traditional guys/gals would fall under that. The bow my son is now shooting was passed down to him by my stepmother...she has multiple kills with it at 42# draw weight. She kept her shots 20 yards and closer and thats what he is practicing at. I didnt expect alot of people to agree with me actually. I just merely wondered why it was different ages in different states.
  14. Light draw bow? So women and kids who hunt with 40# shouldnt either? Im trying to understand that thought.
  15. This past weekend was very windy... 25+ mph. Saw more deer in two days than i did the rest of the season. Rut is heating up so they are moving!
  16. Fully agree. I see states downsouth with no minimum and 4-7 year olds taking turkeys or deer with the supervision of parents.
  17. Heard a few grunts yesterday. Buck was chasing a doe to my left. All i saw was body parts and he wouldnt come across the powerline cut to check me out lol. My buddy saw a buck chasing yesterday morning too. They are moving!
  18. He shooting a micro midas set at 35 now. Its almost on the edge of too easy. But we kept it at that to practice more on accurate shooting.
  19. To each his own. My son shoots better than most guys i see going out in the woods. Then again he has been raised around hunting and knows guns and bows are not toys.
  20. Do you have a bow license from another state? If so i think you can use that to get your ny bow license.
