Awesome! I love big 6's

Muck for me. They keep me warm and are lightweight for walking. They are a little bulky for still hunting, but I can keep nice and quiet with minimal effort. While sitting I have no problems keeping my feet warm in them with wool socks.

Congrats! Probably not how you pictured it happening, but venison in the freezer is top priority.

I believe the young girl was playing along for laughs. A couple times she almost seems to get in position. Very strange if you ask me.

It's my favorite way to hunt and I take advantage of any chance I have to do it. If deer bed on the property you hunt, you have a chance. The difference on smaller tracks of land is you have to monopolize on the first encounter or else you will push the deer off that property. You wont have the opportunity to jump him over and over again. The way I do it is to track really slow and with the wind in your favor. If you spook him the game is over. Basically it's still hunting while following a track. And make sure your ready for a quick shot. It isn't easy, but it is by far the most rewarding method to kill a deer.

I don't want deer season to end, but when it does I am glad there is ice fishing. I am really looking forward to perch and walleye.

It's my favorite way to hunt. It has only payed off once, but man was it a hunt to remember!!
