One thing I was told and found true is that your draw length is often shorter with a traditional bow than with a compound. Just food for thought.

I bought a ASAT 3d suit that seems to work really well. Something similar might help your situation.

Same here. I don't use anything fancy, just the basics. But, I don't feel superior to anyone else because of my choice of equipment. It's your time out there, use it anyway you see fit.

The 870 is a great gun!

From the research I have done. Until you start shooting good groups, don't worry too much about fine tuning. Just pick an arrow that's correctly spined and start shooting.

Careful of cheap Remingtons. I have heard and read a lot of bad things about the 887 and 710.

I just bought a recurve myself for the same reason. I have arrows on the way right now too. Check out 3rivers archery online. They have some good info as well as gear. Also strange, but I am a fellow fultonite.
